Circus Pages

Yesterday I went to the Circus with the kids. Me who always has every single thing and more with me for the kids left the sun hat and sun glasses in the car!!! I didn't know it was an open air circus (never saw that before) and since the circus was hidden in the back from the parking lot not to view... I didn't bring it and was too lazy to all the way back to the car again with both kids... it's easier when you go with somebody in this case ;). But man... I know where they're making their money :). Elephant Rides $5 kid / $8 adult. Admission was only for the adult $15 but now I know why... they want you to bring many kids so they beg you for all the food and stuff you can buy for the kids :)... luckily my kids know me so we ended up spending only $21 total for the whole circus experience - not bad I would say :). It was fun but we ended up leaving in the break because it just would've been too long for the kids... they're trying to get as many kids on these elephant and pony rides once around the circle and then adding a second half would've been way too much! But we had a great time... 

Our German Crawling Group (Krabbelgruppe)

Every Monday Morning, we meet, sing german songs and then eat some fruits and the kids can play. It's a fun time and we've gotten a very nice group together... the typical German Moms (and Dads) :)

Detroit Zoo and Splash Park

Today we went to the Detroit Zoo. Since my Toledo Zoo Membership expires by the end of the month I had to either renew it or sign up at another zoo and I figured I do Toledo Zoo one year and the next Detroit Zoo. Well... I already regret it!!! I have to keep the positive things in mind in order to not be dissapointed. I mean I like the Detroit Zoo but the Toledo Zoo is just so much nicer :(... well we'll see... maybe I'll fall in love with it after a couple of visits. I'll def. get my money worth for sure... I'll just be a little sad not have renewed my Toledo Zoo Membership.

Right at the beginning my battery of the phone went dead! Therefore my friends took pictures and you'll finally see some pics with me in them :)... the kids had a blast.

Yesterday after the Strawberry Picking and the Ride in the Park we went to the Splash Park in the afternoon with our Neighbors Jen and Grace:

Last weekend was a crazy one... I mean one event after the next on SUN afternoon I was half asleep cooking in the kitchen and looking forward to going to bed early *lol*.

Esther is having her first baby - a girl names Elsa July 8th (that's the due date).

Before and after the baby shower we baked a cake for our friend Jen who celebrated her birthday that night. Before partying Frank and I went out for a date night Dinner :)... we were beyond tired when we fell into bed that night

Sunday we organized a picknic in the park with the Germans which turned out super great. We had so much fun and lots of participants... I hope I will get pics from somebody soon to post :).
Monday was a rainy day but the kids wanted to play outside and we did go... me chilling in the garage while the kids are out in the rain. That's the way of doing it *lol*

Today we got out before Frank even got up! I packed the bike and trailer into my van (AWESOME VAN MAN)... and we drove into a park and took a bike ride for an hour. Then we went to a field and did some strawberry picking. Henry was so tired already he could barely follow directions... nor did he finish his lunch when we came back home. I'm sure I'll have some good amount of hours peace and quiet in this house now while the kids sleep :).

Toledo Zoo

Urgh I just love taking the kids to the zoo!!! They're having so much fun and this time we loaded up my minivan! We actually had 3 moms, 4 kids (in car seats), 1 double stroller and 2 single strollers IN THE VAN! AMAZING... I love my van :).

and they also got a new huge crocodile...

Omg, we had an amazing day with Jen & Grace and Adelheid & Sophia. Alright, time to call it a day, enjoy the pics :)...

Hair Cuts, Birthday Party

Splash Park Time... I'm shocked I haven't posted in so long! I didn't know it was that long... sorry... we're busy around the clock and it's a lot of fun. Last week was so hot, a nice cool off in the splash park was exactly what kids needed :)

6AM, just starting to boil the milk for the kids' oatmeal and here they are helping big times placing themselves in front of the stove! Kids ;)

After a great bike ride, the kids enjoy a frosty boy ice cream (a very old ice cream place in down town Belleville). Both had the same size ice cream and Zoe would still share with Henry and FEED HIM... sooooo adorable. Henry of course took every bit he could get :)

Our little baby rabbits are growing!!! He/She is nibbling on the bread we placed on the patio for the wild life :)

Koston turned 2 on the weekend and we had a great time, luck with the weather to celebrate this little guy... unwrapping gifts and all of the kids wanna help

An American tradition... pinjada (or whatever the spelling is) In that box is candy and the kids each get a turn hitting it until the candy comes out and falls on the floor... then all the kids try to each get most of the candy *lol*. And the winner was 'ME'... my kids tried eating 5 dif. candies and NONE of them they liked and spit it right back out. I was super duper happy... I'm doing a great job :).
