Cookie Decorating

One of my fav pics lately... I forgot to post it. My three Cuties on a break during our drive to Baltimore:

Here we go: Cookie Decorating Play Date... preparation for it the day before: Enough cookies? *lol* I still baked more the next morning

And here we are: Cookie Decorating pearls, crystals, you name it, everywhere. But it was a lot of fun for the kids and the cleanup wasn't that bad... AWESOME. You should do it too. The right preparation is the A and O :)... just bake all the cookies in advance and have the kids decorate them and done.

Anybody any cookies? I have so many leftovers :(... well... I'll just distribute them to the ppl I see during the next couple of days :)

More Cousins

Today we went and visited Frank's youngest brother Jay and family. A fun filled day with all of them and a very hungry Henry... I mean he just ate and ate and ate *lol*

The Dolphin Show, unfortunately the battery of the camera went dead :(... was so sad but on the other hand it was so crowded that I didn't really got to see that many things. It was a big money making thing! Don't recommend it to anybody. Crazy expensive and no strollers allowed inside. Wish I would've seen that big warning on their webside but no... I thought of course it'll be kids friendly. First and last time... too sad... well, at least Zoe and Henry were free.

It's funny but Ray always called Henry: Michael! I told him not to worry because my dad would LOVE to hear that ;)... so funny... never heard anybody do this and everybody said he looks just like the father, not his father but my father :)... Yeah, a little German Michael Ruhe ;)

First Hair Cut

Puh, I finally got it figured out!!! Thanks so much D & D for your input. I didn't even know about this picasa album and I deleted a few pics out of it. Luckily nothing on the blog disappeared so I can easily continue blogging without having to do anything different! Very happy about that.

Back to Business :).

Finally I can post the pics of Henry's first hair cut. I had a friend coming over to cut the kids hair and also mine. So it's actually Zoe's first professional haircut as well :). Not just one from mom ;)... Henry right away looked like a little boy :(. He was so good and Zoe too...

The hair was itching his nose :)... hihi

HELP

I need some help from you all... I get this error message since yesterday when I want to upload pics or videos to my blog :(... has anybody every experienced this? I'm not willing to 'buy' more space, then I'd have to create a new blog instead but I'd love to just keep it all on this blog.

Let me know if anybody can help.

Henry!

Ok, we have two very independent kids it seems! Henry started to want to feed himself... he's screaming and kicking if he doesn't have a fork or spoon in his hand during feeding time and if you wanna feed him... you better do it so he won't notice *lol*. He's so proud of himself...

All this walking and being a big boy can be very exhausting... he didn't make it to bed time and crashed before on the couch... too cute

The twins are getting solids now... they'll be 6 months old on the 22nd!!! Have been breastfed since they're born and no supplements... big thumbs up for Silke who's doing an amazing job:

Crazy Saturday

Here some pics from FR our Play Date in the Neighborhood. Lizzie, Zoe and Henry:

In Jen's Basement. I'd love to finish our basement as well, it's an awesome big space and a great play ground for the kids and perfect for entertainment

Mr. Henry... now we can't feed him anymore, he wants to feed himself :(... always a drama if he's not having at least a spoon in his hand while having food. Smiling for the camera

Saturday I've been going since the time I got up... well it's the case everyday but we put up Christmas Lights in the Entrance of our subdivision... 5 hrs it took us all to get it all up. I was the first and last one there...

... then quickly shopping with the kids and preparing dinner for our play date with the neighbor families.

It was a great time but man was I glad when the kids were in bed, the kitchen cleaned up and I could go to bed :).
This morning I stuffed our Turkey and it's in the oven right now hopefully ready for dinner. Kind of went with a 20lbs Turkey (9Kgs)... a little big! By the time Thanksgiving comes along we can't stand Turkey anymore *lol*... well I'm glad we're having our own little Thanksgiving Dinner today since we'll be traveling on Thanksgiving, hoping for free roads :). That's how you do it... switch holidays around and make it easier for you to get around :)
