Wanna-Be HandyWoman ;)

Today we had an amazingly nice day. Sunny, 30Degrees C and off as well. Memorial Day in the USA, no work and another day of relaxation.
Yesterday we had friends over for a BBQ, right when we started having dinner the rain came down. But that didn't bother us at all. We just ate inside and the kids had a blast no matter what, they were playing catch... TOO CUTE!!!
Zoe is back to normal... the best kid ever, little whining and cool as can be. We had a great time today taking our daily walk, going to IKEA, 'Buy Buy Baby' (my new stroller is still there, hasn't been sold yet... awesome)... and we also went to the carneval or fair but I couldn't do anything with Zoe since she's too little, btw, I have to measure her hight.
Zoe is just amazing... walking around like crazy and talking. We had dinner outside today and afterwards I let her walk around in the yard. She went to the front, saw the kids on the other side of the street and she was waving and shouting 'HIIIIIIII'... of course she wanted to go and play with them. The ice cream truck came by as well and Zoe is doing her little dance every time it's driving by.
Now the next challenge comes along... how do you tell her to not go on the street or not walk away from me further than she can see me? I'm freaking out about it and safest way is still... the stroller. I would love for her to walk around more with me while we're out but I just can't determine yet how far she would go... even though she's very attached to me, you never know what's in that little brain of hers.
She's just a doll though... so much fun.
Henry is crazy busy in my belly... he's sooo active that I'm constantly hungry and feel exhausted as if I can't catch up with feeding him. It's pretty funny.

Here our little sunshine, just got up from her nap and ready to get out with me:
Ready to roll...
What's that? What can I get into next?
Frank is all about getting our yard nice at the moment and bought some nice flower pots and stuff to pep up our yard.
Chilling out... waiting for the next step.
Helping Daddy...
The fight about the screwdriver! Daddy wins of course!

22 weeks

Henry is doing great, very much moving around and kicking and having fun in there.
Zoe however is having a rough time right now... very cranky and whiny... we don't really know what's going on with her but we patiently sitting it out and hope for a better tomorrow ;).
Other than that all is well here... we don't have any Tornados here in Michigan but flooding. Some streets north of us are already closed down but here in our neighborhood we don't have to worry about anything as of right now. We really live in a perfect location. Even if it's 'Michigan'... at least we're far away from all the troubled weather that is going on in the USA!!!

21 weeks

Today we had another midwife appt. and everything looks good. Blood work for genetic problems came back - everything good and the ultrasound we did in the hospital looks very good as well. Since at 17 weeks the pictures of the heart weren't good enough to judge, the midwifes want us to go in again and have another ultrasound with better heart pics. No biggie, very good since we can see him one more time and confirm a second time it's really a boy before I'll go nuts buying BLUE *lol*.
It was so great today since Frank was able to come with us. It's just amazing how this little heartbeat steals your own heart. I can't wait for Henry to be with us and turn our world upside down one more time. It's gonna be so much fun having two, I still give Frank a hard time of wanting to have a third one :). It's gonna be so cool for Zoe to have a sibling and not being by herself at home all the time. Right now her best friends are the animals outside, man she has good eyes!!! She's always pointing and telling us: 'birdies'... too cute
21 weeks with Henry!

20 weeks

Halftime!!!
Here we go, Henry posing in mommy with 20 weeks along. Just came back from a great pilates workout, taking my daily walks in the AM, life is great!
And btw, no comments about how 'BIG' I am, they'll get deleted ;). No pregnant woman wants to hear she's big! I guess that goes for all women though, not just pregnant! ;) you can tell me how sexy this baby belly looks on me though if you want *lol*

Little Frankie

Now Zoe discovered that the delicious food is in the fridge as well!!! Now not only Frank checks out the fridge regularly if there could be something delicious in there for him to snack on... little Frankie is doing the same soon!!! For now she's standing in front of it demanding to get 'MORE'. I'm horrified for the day she can actually open/close the fridge herself... she's gonna be in there most of the time since she's always hungry! Oh my!

Having Lunch with Passion

I know... a little bit too much of 'Good Job'!!!! ;)

Happy Mother's Day to all the MOM's out there

I wish a very happy Mother's Day to all the MOM's out there. A day to remember our great mom's ourselves and get reminded of the precious gifts we're raising. This morning Henry had a special gift for me by kicking my hand! I haven't felt him 'outside' yet, only the movements inside my belly. But this morning I had my hands on my belly and could feel him moving and kicking, that was very cool.
We have a wonderful sunny day ahead of us.... our landscaping is getting done this WE (we get black/grey rock... will take pictures once done). And we'll go to Zoe's friend's 1st Birthday Party later.

19 weeks

Apparently Henry is only 6.5 inches long!!! Well... I have no clue why I'm so big already!!! It really works on me this time. I hope he's as hungry when he's out like as he is right now because that weight has to go!
I started my walks again (*YEAH*)... Zoe loves the animals outside, points to them and is excited and says "Hi" to everybody she sees. So far I'm back at 2 miles... not there yet to get to my original 3 miles... I'm lacking but I'm getting there soon. I just have to get going.
I look tired... I should go to bed *lol*... Well... Zoe removed my 'email' application from my Iphone, I quickly have to get that fixed and then I'll take my well earned sleep. I should add a code to my phone since she can operate it pretty good already!!! She's too clever this little girl.

Walking Lady

Zoe is walking a lot lately... she loves it and tries to walk as much as possible. She can even walk while carrying around a bowl of blocks with both hands! She's copying other kids a lot. We just had a 2.5 yrs old girl over for dinner and she was using the blocks as 'food' and put them on a 'plate', now Zoe copies it by adding the blocks into a bowl carrying them around... pretty amazing... I see it coming, Henry will be a lot faster with everything because he has his bigger sister around 24/7... we'll have two little smartypants running around soon *lol*.
I'm going crazy with nesting already!!! We're only at 19 weeks... oh man, I have to take a picture today... later...
The only thing I haven't figured out yet is the decoration theme of Henry's room! The 'boys' stuff is just so different and when I think it's cute it's probably not boyish enough!!! We also change around another room in our house. The 'official dining room' that we use as exercise room right now will become the play room for the kids. We'll gate it in and put down a carpet with streets on it (I always wanted to have one of these... now we'll get it and I can play with our kids on it *lol*) and then store all the toys in that room and that'll be the main play area. Of course they can play in the living room and kitchen etc. but we'd like to have an area where they can store all their toys and go wild and clean up at the end of the day ;). Pretty awesome since that room is visible from the kitchen and even from the living room. This house is made for us... it's the PERFECT layout.
