Picnic and Sleep

Well, today we finally were able to join the german picnic club again and Zoe was able to hang out with her twin friend Max ;).

Heute waren wir endlich wieder faehig beim deutschen Fruehstueck mitzumachen und Zoe konnte wieder ein wenig mit Max spielen ;)
The other kids were around the babies all the time at one point it was just too much for Zoe and she needed some mommy time again.

Die anderen Kinder warem um die Babies die ganze Zeit herum, bis es fuer Zoe dann zuviel wurde und sie wieder ein wenig Mama Zeit brauchte:
I had to trick her into a nap by hanging out in bed with her, waiting until she went to sleep and disappear... she loves our cozy bed :). She's still a little clingy today I guess because of her pain of the tooth, she wants to be around me more than normal.

Ich musste sie zu einem Mittagschlaf tricken indem ich mich neben sie gelegt habt und gewartet hatte bis sie eingeschlafen ist und dann habe ich mich vom Acker gemacht. Sie liebt unser kuscheliges Bett. Sie ist heute ein wenig anhaenglich wahrscheinlich wg. der Zahnschmerzen.

First Tooth

Oh Oh, we just discovered Zoe's first tooth coming through. That explained her behavior today because she was very cranky, didn't wanna eat at lunch and cried a lot (which she doesn't do normally). And when I was checking out her gums a tiny sharp thing was showing off in her left lower gum... WOW... well... I just hope I'll get sleep otherwise you'll find a zombie here in a few days... she only let me sleep 6 hrs straight twice this week :(...

Oh Oh, wir haben gerade Zoe's ersten Zahn entdeckt. Das erklaert auch ihr Verhalten heute, da sie sehr unzufrieden war heute und auch kein lunch essen wollte sowie viel geweint hat (was sie normaler weise nicht macht). Und als ich ihr Zahnfleisch abgetastet habe, habe ich eine kleine scharfe Spitze rausgucken gefuehlt in ihrer linken unterseite des Kiefers. WOW... naja, ich hoffe, dass ich mal langsam wieder mehr Schlaf bekomme ansonsten ist hier ein Zombie anzutreffen. Diese Woche hatte sie mich nur zweimal 6 Stunden am Stueck schlafen lassen :(.

Tornado Warning with lots of water

On Friday Night we had a tornado warning again and lots of rainfall as you can see here in the pictures of DownTown Belleville.

Little poor Teddy

I didn't know what she was trying to do but it just looked too cute, I had to film it... little poor Teddy!!! Of course she saw the camera and wasn't the same!

Ich habe nicht so ganz verstanden was sie da versucht hat, aber es sah einfach zu knuffig aus, das musste ich filmen... armer kleiner Teddy!!! Natuerlich war's nicht mehr das gleiche sobald sie die Kamera entdeckt hat!

Clean Garage

Mein kleiner munchkin arbeitet mit mir. Hat leider nicht lange angedauert weil sie alles angegrabt hat was nicht niet und nagel fest war *lol*
Yesterday I totally didn't know what to do when I was done with work and baby was taking a nap so I figured cleaning up the garage would be a very good thing to do! I got rid of most of the cobwebs and dirt on the floor, filled up the dumpster as much as I could and re-organized a little. I was very happy with the result and with the much more space we have now on the side where the stroller and trashcan sits.

Gestern wusste ich absolut nichts mit mir anzufangen als Zoe ihren zweiten Mittagschlaf gehalten hat drum dachte ich die Garage sauber zu machen wuerde sich gut von Nuetze machen! Fast alle Spinnenweben habe ich entfernt, den Boden gefegt und soviel es ging in die Muelltonne getan sowie ein wenig umorganisiert. Ich bin echt gluecklich ueber den Erfolg wieviel Platz wir nun haben an der Seite wo der Kinderwagen und der Muell steht.

Yeah, Frank's car is missing, he's at work ;).

Franks' Auto fehlt noch, der ist gerade bei der Arbeit ;).

Play Date - Becca's 1st Birthday

Life is wonderful, I actually have again some time to myself... at least it feels like it even if we're out and about! Well I have to get used to it my new schedule again... it's actually weird not being in the 'office' all day trying to get all hrs in. It's soooo much better only working 4 hrs a day!

Ok, here some pics from our play date, we didn't stay long... I kind of come, hang out for an hr, get to talk to almost everybody a little bit and leave *lol*... Zoe had fun, first off watching all these kids, there were lots of them, even though the pics don't tell:

Das Leben ist wunderbar, ich habe sogar wieder Zeit fuer mich... wenigstens fuehlt es sich so an auch wenn wir staendig unterwegs sind! Aber ich muss mich erst einmal wieder an den neuen Plan gewoehnen... es ist ganz schoen komisch nicht mehr den ganzen Tag im 'Buero' zu haengen und versuchen die Stunden reinzukloppen. Es ist viel besser nur noch 4 stunden / Tag zu arbeiten!

Ok, hier sind ein paar Bilder von unserer Verabredung, wir sind nicht lange geblieben... wir kommen meistens hin, schnacken mit jedem ein wenig und haun dann wieder ab nach ner Stunde *lol*... Zoe hatte viel Spass schon alleine die anderen Kids zu beobachten, da waren ganz schoen viele Stoepken auch wenn es auf den Bildern nicht so aussieht:

Ready for a Play Date and Zoe sleeps!!!

So I'm already packed and ready to go to our Play Date (1st B-Day party of a kid I don't even know *lol*) but Zoe is still sleeping and I want her to sleep as much as she needs otherwise I'll have a cranky baby today! So I'm waiting and kill my time by blogging again these super cute pics from today :).

Nun sitz ich hier und singe, kommen sie von nah und fern... sie fangen an zu knabbern, die ham halt ultje's gern... komm auch Du, greif zu! :)... ja, bin gelangweilt da ich schon fertig gepackt hier sitze um zu unserer Verabredung zu gehen (1. Kindergeburtstag bei einer Familie, die ich gar nicht kenne *lol*) aber Zoe hat es sich wohl anders ueberlegt und schlaeft immernoch ein wenig und da sie ihren Schlaf braucht warte ich mal ab wielange ich hier noch meine Zeit killen muss *lol*. Ladies Night

We had a great day yesterday... very busy. First I got my work done and then head out to the mom's group after lunch and at night we went over to Franziska's for a girls night. Since Frank is gone until today *YEAH* (he comes back tonight, can't wait) and we don't have a babysitter up here (it's probably because I don't wanna have a babysitter *lol*) I brought Zoe with me and again she was just great and happy to be a part of the party (I tried to put her to sleep in the room next door which didn't work out, she was keeping herself up, moving around).

Wir hatten einen total schoenen und vollen Tag gestern. Erst einmal habe ich meine Arbeit erledigt (soviel einfacher mit nur 4 std / tag) und dann sind wir nach dem Mittagessen zur Mom's Group gegangen und abends dann zu Franziska gefahren, die eine Girls Night organisiert hatte. Da Frank bis heute Abend weg ist (yeah, er kommt heute Aben wieder :), kann's kaum abwarten) und wir keinen Babysitter haben (wahrscheinlich weil ich sie bei keinem lassen will *lol*) habe ich Zoe mitgenommen und sie war mal wieder spitze und total happy mit von der Party zu sein (ich hatte versucht sie im Nebenzimmer schlafen zu legen aber sie hatte sich selbst beschaeftigt, ist rumgerutscht auf dem Popo und hat sich wach gehalten).
I only took a picture of half the group!!! Don't know why I didn't do the other side as well... it was so much fun. I'm inspired now to do the same when Frank is gone the next time in September I'm gonna organize a Ladies night as well :). In August Frank has to go to Chicago, but of course he won't go alone *lol*... we come with him and spent time with our friends after I'm done working :)... AWESOME

Ich habe irgendwie nur ein Bild von der Haelfte der Gruppe gemacht, keine Ahnung warum? Es hat soviel Spass gemacht und ich bin nun inspiriert auch eine Ladies Night zu machen wenn Frank weg ist das naechste Mal (in September). Frank muss zwar auch im August wech, nach Chicago, aber da kommen Zoe und ich natuerlich mit und haengen dann nach dem Arbeiten mit unseren Freunden dort ab :)... GENIAL :)

Working on the nightshift...

Urgh, after two good nights (only one time feeding) I had a horrible night yesterday. There wasn't a good long sleep in one piece for me and now i'm totally pooped again... whatever! After the 5th time getting up I was done and let her complain in bed, I actually fell asleep during her complaining time (I noticed this morning). But she's still the best *lol* here some pics from yesterday:

Girls Party for 4 days

Since Frank is gone on a bz trip we're having a Girls party all day long *lol*... just kidding, we're just fine doing what we do all day normally as well just that Frank doesn't come home around 530PM :(. Yesterday Zoe didn't get enough sleep during the day so she was a little more cranky and fell asleep while feeding her for her last feeding that day:

Da Frank gerade auf einer Geschaeftsreise ist, machen wir hier Maedels' Party den ganzen Tag *lol*... quatsch, machen wir natuerlich nicht, wir haben ganz normale Tage, wie sonst auch nur dass Frank eben halt nicht nach Hause kommt um 1730 :(. Gestern war Zoe ein wenig quaengelig da sie nicht genug Schlaf bekommen hat am Tage und schlief dann ein als ich sie das letzte mal vorm Zubettgehen gestillt habe:

couldn't really get one this morning without tongue, I guess something in her gums is bothering her from the teething so she's always there with her tongue.

Ich konnte kein gescheites Bild bekommen ohne Zunge, ich denke mal, dass sie da etwas an dem Gaum stoert vom Zahnen und sie deswegen staendig mit der Zunge am Machen ist.
