OMG, look at my two Cuties taking a nap!!! Isn't that the cutest thing ever??? Zoe is running a temperature (AGAIN)... 100.3F, she was clingy already the whole day and now she's snuggling with daddy:

She's into everything now, also wants to eat our food, so cute :)... but she's particular... she only eats what she likes otherwise she'll make a face and the next time you offer her a spoon she turns her head away! On Thursday Zoe and I will drive to Chicago :)... I've invited myself to our company party and a friend of mine will watch Zoe for the time (first time I'll leave her with somebody else other than Frank or Frank's Mom). I'm soooo looking forward to the party, have figured out already what I'm gonna wear and hope Zoe will enjoy the time with Steph. She has two cats, a dog and birds as well as big fishes... Zoe will love it :).

Greenfield Village

Today Silke and I went with the kiddos to Greenfield Village. It was great, there were people dressed like in the old days who explained everything and so on. Def. a stop for all future visitors who'll see us ;)... here a sneak preview:look at his hairstyle:

Santa in Plymouth

Yesterday we went to see Santa :). It was freezing cold but fun to get out and see something different. They also lit up all the decorated tree after Santa arrived in a fire truck... it was funny to see all the excited kids. Unfortunately the battery of my camera went dead... here a few picsSilke and Alex joined as well as Frank came with us :).

Zoe is doing great by the way, she is a speedy crawler, sometimes she crawls so fast, almost flies over the floors *lol*... we're cracking up just watching her... she's so much fun

Mommy and Me

Yesterday we were just chillin on the couch, all day long!!! We were all very pooped as you can see *lol*Today Zoe and I went to a pot luck dinner with the Michigan Mom's Group, had lots of fun again while Frank is at a business dinner now. Thought this outfit was worth a picture :)... yeah baby :)

Daddy is home!

Welcome Home

Well... I guess I'm too much *lol*... but I'm sooo happy he comes home today so I went a little nuts *lol*. I decorated his garage space:
so you can see how big it actually is :)and bought some red roses, I separated two from the bunch. I try to pin a rose on Zoe's clothes somehow, for her daddy and I bring a red rose to the airport as well :)... YEAH, 60 minutes until touch down! I track him of course, he's almost over the US ground.
Zoe is taking a nap, finally! We went to Barnes & Noble this morning for a story time with a very interesting reader. It was fun and Zoe was listening very curious, it was the cutest thing and I enjoyed it as well. Ok, I'll get the house ready a little more and then I'll hit the road once Zoe is up... hope she doesn't sleep too long or I have to wake her up!

She found her new spot :)... she crawled through the foyer while the waste truck drove by and she crawled towards the window and said: 'mba mba da'... it was too cute... well hello tiny finger prints on the windows :(
Zoe is still sick but it's running out pretty good... we'll see how long it'll take this time to be back to normal. Yesterday was sooo bad, she was crying so hard and wouldn't calm down unless I carry her around that I finally put her in the car and drove around for an hour which calmed her down... fun times ;)... we survived though, today is another day. Got up very early so I could get at least a few hrs in before she got up... I'm curious how today is going to be.

Welcome little Ben

Congrats to Theis and Tina to their cute baby boy: Ben and special congrats to being grandparents for the first time: Sabine and Francke. And also to the first time uncles: Tyarck and Tim as well as aunt Carola :). Enjoy and have fun being grandparents/uncles/aunt.

rough day...

So today I had a rough start of the day. I got up extra early and thought I can get a lot done... which stayed a 'wishful thinking'! Yeah, Zoe gets up earlier now which didn't leave me a lot of room to work. And then she also didn't wanna be by herself and play but wanted to be with me. You can always tell when she's sick or something is going on because she's getting very cuddly and she has been for a few days. Also she cries while sleeping a little. The reason behind all this are her upper teeth which are coming in. So end of story, I tried and tried to get my whole work in and I hate these days when you sit in the office for hrs and all you get out of it is an hour. Like a lemon that is out of juice but you try to get some more out of it, that's how I feel *lol*... Well, I have to catch up on work hrs on the weekend. No relaxing time for me here :(... I'm exhausted! I'm having a good time here but as soon as I have some time to myself I have to sit in front of the work computer which I should be sitting in front of right now but I'm just not! I'm too tired! Hope next week will be getting better once her teeth are not bothering her anymore as much... here Ms Zoe sucking the hell out of the ice cold snail, yeah, her teeth are hurting :(

... and she's into everything now... CABLES... blinds ;)... we still have to baby proof our house completely!!!
But to light up the day :). I met with Silke today and her son Alex and we had a great time talking and taking a long walk through Ann Arbor (2.5 hrs) in this wonderful weather (60Degrees F / 16Grad Celcius) and we had 'bubble tea'... it was very delicious and it made up my day for sure.
Now... Zoe is sleeping... and my eyes are very heavy, I guess i'll join the 'lala-land' soon as well... need to get some rest!

Paulina is here!

Woohooo, congrats to our new proud parents: 'Irina and Thorsten' and also proud grand parents: 'Manfred and Ulrike'. Irina and Thorsten had their little baby girl today... I'm excited to share some pics but first I need to get some :). It all looks very healthy and natural... information will follow once I get some news ;). I'm so excited and love the name 'Paulina'
