Yesterday we had family over for a get together and today we'll take a ride to Anapolis to just cruise around and check out the area. The kids are doing great and Zoe enjoys spending time with Grandma and PopPop a lot. Tomorrow we'll head back home already... the time always goes so fast! At home it's suppose to snow tomorrow! We'll see how our Minivan will navigate in snow for the first time.

On the road again

... to Baltimore :)... Yeah, we've left this morning at 840am (planned start was latest 9am, just so you know we made it earlier with two kids *proud me*). we have two awesome passengers and hubby and I enjoy the time together :). So far we only made two stops (that was planned) and we have only an hour to go which looks like we'll make it without another stop! Are we rocking it or what? ;) so cool! Here some pics from the two cutest passengers:

How can you become rich?

... have kids :)... they're just the best thing in the whole wide world :)... look at our Cuties :). Henry starts to laugh now... he's so adorable.
My little trouble maker *lol*. She gets into everything she can... but she's also way clever which is pretty awesome and challenging at the same time *hihi*... the other day she just called her grandma all by herself... or came to me carrying my laptop because she wanted to skype... childproofing is not a hurdle for her at all anymore, we have to come up with more advanced tricks to keep her away from certain things. Keeps our brain busy as well... not bad ;).
Just had to post these pics and tell you guys how happy I am... so now enjoy your day, mommy has to go back to work while both are taking a nap now.

Little Raven's

And here the pictures for Aunt Patty... Frank asked my sister in law to get him some Raven's shirts for the kids now that the football season started and he's watching the Raven's game every week... he needed his little munchkins dressed up but I wouldn't buy him these *lol*... but luckily he has a very nice sister in law who shipped them over.
Frank took all these pics... don't know which looks best so you'll get them all. Zoe loved that photo session and when we were done and I took Henry away she wasn't happy and demanded that she'd get him back in her lap... she really loves her brother. In the morning I left Henry upstairs with Frank and when Zoe got downstairs she was looking like crazy for Henry until I told her that he's sleeping upstairs with Daddy, then she was ok. SOOO CUTE! She's a great big sister.
And as you can see, she always makes sure he's having his pacifier... funny though, Henry is not so much into it than Zoe *lol*...

Little Henry

Today the guilt got me that I'm not taking enough pics of Henry :(... back with Zoe I took sooo many pics every day and now I maybe have weekly pics? Urgh... that is not ok!!!
We had a great week here... well, I have to look at my calendar to remember what we've done but it was great. My brain is not the best anymore... I guess it's working so much that it starts to burn out or whatever it is... it's terrible. Well... as long as I know to take care of my babies all is good :). I'm sooo happy having the two and Henry is just an angel... he's soooo easy going and little maintenance, it's amazing! If Zoe would've been like him I totally could've worked full time from home!!!
My little toddler is doing great as well. We have tandrum days and good days but mainly we're going through the days very good. Our main family time is our dinner together which I absolutely love. It's so important to have us all sit on the table and eat together, we always have to wait for Zoe since she's really enjoying eating (if it's something she likes a lot) and I think she also enjoys it a lot to have mommy and daddy next to her and enjoying the time together as a family.
Work goes very well with the kids... just get up early and nap time they both do together as well (lucky me) that gives me enough hrs in the day to cover work and a little extra.
Now it's nap time again :)... and I'll prepare our shopping list for tomorrow and the meal plan for next week as well. We'll drive to Baltimore on THU to see family that'll make my shopping/meal plan a lot smaller this week ;). I really look forward getting out of the house, no work and just family... it'll be nice and I guess we'll take the minivan this time :)... Zoe loves the DVD player and requests it now almost every drive *sight* but that's ok... as long as I don't have to listen to it and can still listen to my music... she's fine with just 'watching' it... pretty awesome. Well, gotta go back to my meal plan... have a great weekend everyone.
Isn't he CUTE??? :)
By the way, tonight I'll be out the first time WITHOUT both kids... that's gonna be fun... Ladies' night out... I'm sooo ready for this.

Making her Bed

So this is how it looks when I'm making Zoe's bed... she's playing on the mattress and wouldn't let me put the mattress back into the bed because it's so much fun :). And this gave me the perfect idea for her transition into her new room!!! We'll just get rid of the bed frame for the beginning and put the big mattress on the floor, that way we don't have to worry about her falling out of the bed :)... and when she's older and ready we'll get the frame back up. Man, I'm glad we have this huge basement... we never run out of space here to put things *lol*

Music class

We always go way earlier to music class so Zoe can play at 'my urban toddler' before class. Henry is still sleeping:

... And Zoe needed to recharge her energy a plain bagel:

Today is the last class this year :(... Too sad, we enjoy them so much. Next semester starts after christmas :(... Sooo long...

Sunday

Alright, so I almost forgot I have this blog *lol*... I'm so busy with everything around here that I again forgot to take pictures and now I have a few spare minutes I can update you. Henry is chilling out / sleeping on me right now and Zoe is busy watching Sesame Street. She loves that show and is allowed one show a day.
She was supposed to go out with her Dad but since she didn't wanna put on the Shirt, she can't go outside... it's too cold with just a onesie and jacket. But maybe she refuses to wear the shirt since Frank tries to put her into a Ravens shirt *lol*... (the Baltimore Football Team.... sundays is football here in the USA...).
So how are we doing? Very well... we're very busy of course and I do my new thing the meal planning for the week and I go grocery shopping once a week (Sunday mornings). I just try to make it easier on my part since it takes forever to go grocery shopping with two kids (Zoe stops the groove all the time by wanting to eat one of the items in the cart, wants to see the fishes, wants to get out of the cart... etc.) and then I don't have much space in the cart with two kids either... so why going through all this if you can have it WAY easier :)... now I plan my next weeks' meals on FR and SAT and Sunday morning after Zoe is done with her breakfast I take Henry out shopping with me get everything we need and Frank goes out with Zoe or just stays home. That works out way better for everybody and I have a peaceful and quiet shopping trip *lol*...
My new hobby is cooking! I actually plan different meals and really cook... not just steam vegetables and throw a piece of meat on the BBQ *lol*... and it's so much fun. I really like it a lot and it tastes so good, my spicing is getting a lot better as well. So if you have any easy recipes for me, mail me :)... I'm always grateful for easy and quick and delicious.
OH NOOO... my hubby just said it: 'Babe, I wanna watch the game!'
As you can see... sunday afternoon's football has reached our household as well. Well, I'm gonna check my recipe for today's dinner and will start cooking *Yammi*...
Oh, another great information for you guys! I can zip up my pre-pregnancy jeans again *TSCHAKKA*... of course is my belly not yet slim and tight... still working on that... but I can wear the old jeans and it's ok :)... ok... gotta go... wanna prepare a nice dinner for my family. Btw, the Ravens are not looking good... in about 10 min. my hubby will turn off the TV and say: 'oh, I can't watch this'... he's way too funny *lol*. 10 min later he'll switch it on again to take it peak if they recovered and then it'll either be ' oh no, I can't watch that' or he'll continue watching it if they caught up...

Henry's Doc Appointment

Yesterday we had to go to the doctor with Henry for his next set of shots and 'checkup'. The only thing was that he prefers to put his head right facing (as you can also see in this picture *lol*) and we should encourage him to also place it to the left sometimes... but nothing to worry about.
The other thing was his growth and man did he grew!!! He was 8lbs 9oz at birth, right? So I figured after 6 weeks, he might be about 10lbs since he looked already so big to me... come to find out, this little guy is already almost 12 lbs!!! (11lbs and 15oz)... I couldn't believe it!!! (50% length and 80% weight)... well, let's blame it on the Halloween Candy *lol*
Zoe is playing a lot and is very creative, explores new things here and there and if she's not taking care of her brother she takes care of her little doll like here she was sitting with him on the 'bench' telling him all kinds of stories :)... oh man, she looks so big too... what happens here?
