Getting prepared

Today we dropped off Frank again at the airport and in the afternoon we had a visitor :). Janos came over for a play date with Zoe while his parents enjoyed some 'alone time'... very very precious time nowadays ;)... Zoe enjoyed having company and Janos enjoyed it as well (I think)... here is Zoe, of course she wants the camera:Janos playing with new toys... it's always cool to be at other places and play with other stuff than with what you have at home:

Guck Guck... she's getting pretty good at it... also we catch her standing around without holding on to anything... and in the kitchen I sometimes catch her walking in 'bridge position'... butt in the air... walking but with her hands on the floor, still kind of crawling... she's getting there slowly but surely...
a heart and a soul... the two are getting along together amazingly well.
What? Me?
It was a good day... some prep for me handling two kids at once. It all works out ;)... I'm already so excited about the second one, it's crazy!!!

Chatty Girl

A Baby with a heart beat

So yesterday I went with Zoe to our midwife and everything got checked out :). It was so nice seeing Jenny again. The whole office crew was so excited to see me again and they look forward to another 6 months of visits from me :).

So everything looks good. Regarding her checkup it looks like one baby only ;)... so no twins... lucky me! I couldn't even imagine having twins!

And then we heard the heart beat!!! First she couldn't find it right away and I was starting to get worried but she said when they're so little it's always harder to locate them and it takes a little longer and there it was.... oh man... it was soooo moving! I couldn't believe it... and the best thing on top of it... Zoe was cracking up... the cutest thing ever. And Jenny said to Zoe: 'That's cool, isn't it'?

*sight*... it made my whole week!!! We scheduled our ultrasound date for April, 22nd... we might even find out already what it's going to be... boy or girl? Bad thing is that Zoe can't come with us (I guess it's better anyways)... so I have to ask my friend if I can drop Zoe off at her place. Hope she has nothing planned that day yet ;).

Zoe did ok... she's becoming a little stinker now by getting into things she can't have and when we don't allow it she's crying like: 'You're soooo mean to me'! Such a drama queen! It's kind of funny though... she's testing us now but we're putting our feet down.

Her eating is improving as well (not mentioning what she wants to eat - very picky eater)... she always wants to eat with her fork! If she can't get it onto her fork, we have to add it to the fork and she grabs the fork and puts it into her mouth with high speed!!! Hilarious!!!

New Baby Girl

Congrats to my friends Sandra & Angel who just had their second baby girl named: Skylar Jade with 7 lbs and 1oz and 20 inch long. Hope to be able to post pics soon. I'm planning a trip to Chicago in April, hope it all works out so I can hang out with my friends... i really miss them too

Probably found our new babies' name

Well... nothing is really happening here. Zoe is always hunting the camera or camcorder as soon as I get it out so it's getting hard to take pics etc. She's doing great and is getting so much stronger every day. She's crawling around like crazy and plays with things where we adults think: 'Man, how can babies find this so interesting?'... she's dancing along to songs and walks along anything she can get a grip on. She loads up her little walker and walks around her guddies and as soon as she spots an open gate, she's right up crawling up the stairs.

She's a trip!!! What can I tell you ;)... it's so much fun watching her.

Today we seem to have found our new babies' name! It's sooo exciting. It's so crazy, with Zoe we knew it pretty early as well and we heard it and we knew that was THE name! Same happened today when we came up with the name and we looked at each other and we both said we love it! Now we just have to find out if it's gonna be a girl or a boy... I should start a poll so you can vote. We're going to find out if we have the chance and we probably let you know as well but for now I'm not gonna say anything ;).
