Baking Christmas Cookies
We had our ordinary FR morning Play date with Kimberly and the kids however Kimberly had the idea about baking Christmas cookies. Since she's due with her third baby any day now and we're heading to Germany soon we figured it's totally appropriate to bake Christmas Cookies before Thanksgiving is over :)... and here we go :)
The kids had a blastHenry's cookies didn't even survive one minute! As soon as cookie incl. frosting was being presented to him for decoration it had already a bite mark *LOL*... this kid!!!
Guilty as charge! I gues this was ONE cookie that survived!
Oh what did I say... I guess he did eat it *LOL*

Henry Ford Week
WED we went with our friends to the Henry Ford Museum. Henry LOVED all the big trains and cars... we got a membership... beware, we'll go lots ;)
LEGO City
Henry was very interested in it and the Guy 'explained' him something, he was listening.
And the Train Set, I guess every boys' dream :)
Playing with Lego
Building paper Planes and letting them fly
Building rolling objects and letting them roll down a slope
THU we went and visited the house of Edsel (Henry Ford's only son) & Eleonor Ford a Mansion. She donated the property to the state to have the public see it... it was pretty impressive. Next to the Butlers Pantry and the chef kitchen it also had a baking room... sooo darn cool
Proof we've been there (Zoe is hiding behind me)
Beautiful Property, right on the lake...
Eleonor's Rose Garden
Their only daughter Josephine received to her 7th Birthday a Play House! Yes, her own little house all in miniversion. It was sooo cool for the kids. Even the toilet was mini size... it must've been super cool to be playing in that as a child
Afterwards we went to have lunch.
Pics you normally don't get ;)... that's the advantage of having somebody else being so into capturing everything ;)... Thanks to Adelheid I got some of these pics... enjoy

Christmas Light Decoration
Yesterday we decorated the entrance of our subdivision. This year I didn't have to plan anything just show up if I want to ;). And I have to say it's kind of nice! Of course I want to help but I didn't have to worry about not bringing the kids because I wouldn't get as much done. This time I brought Zoe with me and she was excited to help me decorate (even though she was more into other things and told ME all the time that I would have so much work ahead of me... yeah thanks Zoe) *lol*... but it was fun. We spend some time alone with each other no Henry... he was out shopping with Frank and really enjoyed that too. We only stayed 1.5 hrs until the rest of the busy day continued with play date and when I got home for dinner they were still working on the lights :(. Not many people showed up... it's always the same people... so sad. I wish not everybody would only 'say' how much hard work we put into it and how great it looks, if everybody just would spend 30 min with us helping... it would be done in no time. Oh well... another year of the little elves doing their work while we get to enjoy it very much. Zoe is already so excited about Christmas and I told her that we'd get a big Christmas Tree that she can pick out with Opa :)... only three weeks to take off. I'm getting anxious! Now Frank extended his Thanksgiving thoughts... that means I'll be gone... and home for only 4 days and then take off already! It's gonna be a little rough but hey, I'll get it done. I guess less play dates for us than I was hoping for in that week.

Pet Show
Yeah, who would've thought I'd go to a pet show!!! But the kids loved it and what a great idea to do with the kids!!!
Zoe is always shy when somebody approaches her that close... SHE needs to come forward first or it won't happening ;)
