Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all my Readers :). I honestly didn't make it *lol*... I went to bed at 11PM and had a good night sleep.
Here some pics from our past week. Somebody was super excited to be back home in his country ;)... can you tell who that was?
Me on the other hand had a very hard time adjusting to being back home. Maybe it was that I've been gone so long coupled with not being in Germany for over 4 yrs and having such an amazing time. It's been very busy visiting/ seeing soo many people and I was on the go the whole time but it truly was amazing seeing almost everybody - yes unfortunately I didn't manage to see them all :(. The kids had so much fun as well and now being back home I feel soooo guilty for polluting our environment so much while the little country of Germany is trying so hard to be environmentally friendly... the USA is somewhat trying but not nearly as much and USA compared to Germany is much bigger and it just seems to me not fair how such a small part of the world is trying so hard and a big part of the world is not.
Anyway ;), I had an AMAZING time and would've easily added another week or two or three *lol*... miss my Germans big times... it was so great to be so close to everybody and enjoy family and friends to the fullest.
Thanks so much to Meike and Dad for having us in their home and having the most amazing vacation ever :). I hope to be able to do this trip again before Zoe goes to school.
Early Riser, talking like a waterfall...
Having fun coloring...
FINALLY... Zoe was so excited when she saw the snow outside and couldn't get out there fast enough. We're expected to get about 5inches of snow by Thursday (however much that is...) so it'll be a blast time for the kids here...

Our New Years Eve Dinner: Catfish with Green Beans and Potato Gratin. Frank was excited about the food and also Zoe and Henry were just shoving it down... Happy Moments for me ;)
We tried taking a walk after dinner to take a look at our wonderful light up houses in the subdivision... but we only saw two great houses before Zoe gave in. One of the jet lag items is that the kids are WAY too tired in the evening that we have crying kids all evening long. As soon as they lay in bed they're sound asleep ;).
This house got second place. We love this one, it's different and almost next door to us so we see it lots :)
This was the winner last year and the owners picked the winner of this year. Hopefully we'll be able to view a few more houses tonight ;).

Mir geht es auch immer so wenn ich in Deutschland war. Ist ja auch immer schön nach Deutschland zu gehen. Geniesse dass du deine Freunde und Familie besuchen könntest. Du lebst dich dann auch wieder in Amerika ein. LG Dana
