I found some 'daddy morning pics' on my phone... this one was FR:Saturday:
and Sunday on the flight back home... she did great:
and here something that makes parenthood so well worth it. Zoe is doing much better each day... today she got rid of a lot of mucus (sorry to mention that here *lol*) like the doc told us would happen within the first few days of starting antibiotics

Back home

Hello, just quick, we're back home again, flight back home went well, unfortunately the flights were always packed so we had always somebody next to us but it went all ok and I managed everything pretty good. Even feeding her solids in the seat! But we're still sick :(.
Today Zoe and I went to the doc, we're both now on antibiotics for the next 10 days... :(. I don't like it that antibiotics is always the first option here but we have a great doc who explained it all etc. and hopefully we'll feel better soon. If Zoe won't feel better by FR then we have to see him again. Let's hope for the best...
Oh, by the way. Zoe is 75% length and 25% weight... she weight in at 16 lbs and 10 oz and 27.5 inches long. :)

Baby Sitting

Here our two Cuties this morning playing together... too sad, now that the week is almost over the two started playing with each other:Today, Zoe and I went with Dana to Bozeman... while Dana went to work, Zoe and I checked out a few stores and had a good time in downtown. I checked out the place again with the glass frames... man, they have a great collection. But they didn't take my insurance and when I asked for other styles/colors of that brand she couldn't get me the answer... so I guess I'll end up purchasing my new frame in Germany! Since I'm gonna be there anyways... I might as well wait and go to the store I always go to ;)...
Tonight, Doug and Dana went out to dinner and the opera and I baby sit the two little ones... they were doing great. Sophia didn't like that her parents left but after soothing her with her strawberry shortcake DVD she was good and then she wanted to play with Zoe... that was just too cute... Zoe likes to open/close doors apparently as well!!! We'll gonna be in so much trouble once she starts moving!!!
Zoe hit the button for the music and Sophia was dancing along to it...
Checking out what other tunes we can play.
Even though it's kind of tough to get them both to bed at the same time... I kind of managed it again pretty good and now I enjoy a very quiet house to myself. Laundry is done, house is cleaned up... maybe I'm gonna decorate for Dana's birthday tomorrow a little... let's see what I can find here :)...

A day in the mall and 'books and babies'

Yesterday night Zoe got rid of her fever but had a horrible time 'going to bed'... finally she fell out and this night was much better with only a few breaks in between. Here aunt Dana soothing niece Zoe:Today we went to the mall and the little ones were able to take some funny rides with the frog...
and a duck
after lunch we went to the library where they had: 'books and babies', they sing songs and afterwards the kids can play around a little. I was a little worried this was all too much for her being sick but she did great and feels much better today.
After the group we went to a coffee shop with the other german girl Dana met (very nice) and had a great coffee and cake session and talked a lot. In downtown Bozeman I finally found a glasses frames shop that has very unique glass frames :)... I have to get back there... there were some potential frames I really liked, well, maybe a little too crazy ;)... but I really need something very cool :)
Back home, playing with Zoe but now it's time for dinner, let's see if she eats tonight good... yesterdays' dinner she barely touched and I ended up breast feeding her.

Zoe is sick

Taking a nap yesterdaySo, it's official, Zoe is really sick for the first time in her life, her nose is so stuffed up that she has a hard time breathing. She woke up last night every 30 min. at least and finally at 4AM I decided to feed her again hoping that this might give her a longer stretch of sleep... well, she threw up all the milk in my bed :(... she needed a bath and I needed to get rid of all the milk soaked bedding and PJ and then we finally got some sleep for a little bit. At 6AM she was up again and I took her with me into bed. At 9AM when she heard Sophia outside talking/ walking she was wide awake looking forward to seeing her cousin. It's sooo cute, Zoe really loves Sophia.
Zoe has a little high temperature but it dropped already and I found a doc that is in our network around here, just in case we need to go... we'll see how it goes... but I'm telling you, it's easier if an adult is sick and you have to take care of him/her than taking care of a sick baby! I'm so sorry for her... but she's smiling again here and there and is hanging out with us and cracks up about Barkley (sooo cute)
just had lunch... her appetite is still good, that's a good sign.

Sisters/Cousin Day

Today Dana, Sophia, Zoe and I went out and had a girls day. It was fun, of course we went shopping (one store after the next) with a coffee/cake session in between... Sophia started sharing toys with Zoe today and also played with her, even though still when Zoe just says one bit, Sophia puts her pointing finger on her mouth and says: 'sssshhh'... too cute, we tried to get a picture of her doing it but couldn't get it.
While Sophia was busy playing with the truck, Zoe was fascinated by our shoe laces...
... just wait, one day...
...she'll tie our shoe laces together and we get up and ... wuppss, we'll fall down *lol*She even looked for shoe laces on her shoes and Sophia's! But at that time Sophia was barefoot already and of course her shoes doesn't have any at this point! The girls are just so much fun. Doug and Dana are out to dinner right now enjoying some couple time while I brought the two kids to bed, it worked out pretty good. Unfortunately Zoe got sick today (first time), she has a running nose and is a little warmer than usual, she wakes up every 30 min or so crying and stuffed up :(... I hope she'll feel better tomorrow. Sophia of course goofed around with me, I actually played a singing song with her eating her food *lol*... '... enee mene muh, und raus bist Du...' she even sang the song herself (I could understand her: 'enee mene muh') while I was busy changing Zoe's diaper.
When Sophia thinks nobody listens to her, she actually brings out words... you just have to listen when she thinks you doesn't *lol*... tricky lady.

Jolly Jumper

Yesterday Doug installed the Jolly Jumper for Zoe because she was going nuts with her feet under the table ;)... she's used to lots of moving around *lol*Good Morning, she's so excited about everything that's happening here when she wakes up... the dog was running back and forth and Zoe was just cracking up again every time he past by the room
Look at our little fashinista
Hello :)
Sophia with her cool car, I'm still jealous about that one, I want one too... it looks sooo cool :)
