Week of Heat

We're really having a week of heat here... under 30Degrees C is not even in the books right now... 35 it was yesterday... puh... *sweat*... I'm basically staying inside or run errands etc. in the very early morning. The kids and I tent to leave the house before Frank even gets up *lol*.

MON morning we went to the play ground first thing. Poor Zoe was asking all the time where all the kids are... well, they all sleep in so there weren't any ;) but it was still a lot of fun with brother Henry. So glad we have them both... they play so nicely with each other and enjoy each others company a lot.

After the play ground in the morning Henry so super exhausted and didn't even make it to finish his lunch at 1030AM *lol*...

Momma is preparing for her Yard Sale for the Subdivision. I'm rocking this sale... it's my very first one and the garage is now my little shop. I'll take pics later... signs everywhere, hope it pays out and I'll sell lots of items

Somebody wants my phone sooo badly: 'bitte mama, bitte, bitte bitte..." Urgh... OK

Today we went to the indoor trampoline place to jump away some energy. Henry only made it 15 min and he was exhausted *lol*... Zoe jumped the whole hour and I'm hoping for a great nap now :). Grace and Jen came with us as well.

Rock on the Riverfront - Detroit

We had a spontaneous double date with Judy and Dennis (our neighbors) and went to the Detroit Riverfront to: Rock on the Riverfront. The band 'The Romantics' played and it was totally cool :). We had a great time and enjoyed our night out tons...

Detroit Zoo

Yesterday we went to the Detroit Zoo with some friends and had an amazing time again. The weather was outstanding. We actually are being promised to have no rain for the next week (which is good and bad)... it's gonna get very hot though... water features here we come :)

Walled Lake, MI - Beach

It was cloudy but no rain so I figured we HAVE to check out this beach NOW :). As I type the kids play in the yard and a big big dark cloud is moving in... it's just a matter of time but luckily it was dry all day and now that dinner time comes around I won't mind it raining - saves lots of water for our grass :)

The kids just had a blast. This is the easiest thing to do... go to a beach, chill and the kids enjoy it big times

When finally some other kids arrived they made friends in no time... amazing :)

Detroit Zoo and Wallet Lake

Today we headed out to the Detroit Zoo. I have to get my membership worth right? :) My original plan was to try out another beach but the weather wasn't that promising so I figured 2 hrs zoo before the rain comes in should work out just fine :)... and it did. It was perfect since barely people came out and we had barely people we had to deal with - LOVE these zoo days :)

Since the Wallet Lake was somewhat on the way I made a quick stop there to check it out and it was GREAT! I'm so excited... can't wait to check it out with the kids sometime soon. The weather is very weird lately... it's mostly dry but thunderstorm watch and you never know WHEN they actually start (I think I wrote that already)... oh well... I checked it out while the kids took a nap during the whole car ride home ;)...
