Pumpkin Factory

The days are counted!!! On Wednesday it's HALLOWEEN!!! Then these awesome pumpkin patches are coming to an end :(. Yesterday was such an amazing warm and sunny day I had to take the kids out again to the Pumpkin Factory. They enjoyed it lots.

My little Man, he's free standing already and yesterday he refused to go into the stroller!!! Every time I lifted him into it he made a scene! He wanted to either crawl or walk on my hand! Oh Dear! That's going to be fun, I can tell already.
Our Thanksgiving Dinner :) :) :)... big Turkey coming your way. Unfortunately we won't celebrate Thanksgiving this year but you can count on it, I'll make a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner one of these days this year no matter if it is Thanksgiving or nor :).
The kids didn't wanna leave!!! Can you tell, they had a blast

Zoe loves this little house there. She always makes me something to eat ;)... yesterday some hay / aka cake :)

Most of the time we've gone this year, they always have the greatest sunsets...

A Morning at Sarah's

Two of my friends from Chicago will come and visit me over the weekend so we needed to 'create' a second guest room and Henry will have to sleep in our room for the time being. The kids loved the air bed in Henry's room and jumped and had fun for a while.

Today we went up north to visit Sarah and Ethan. They were living across the street but moved about one hour away from us due to being closer to their work :(... buh for us, yeah for them... but that doesn't mean we'll loose the contact. Was just so great to just walk across the street and now that's a day trip :(

My little photographer:

Look at the two... lately they're playing more and more together. And more and more getting into each others way! Henry is starting to tease her pretty good already!!! Oh what a joy to come *lol*

Mom's Day Out

I started the weekend with a nice Day out... just me, myself and I once the kids and Frank got out of bed I left. First I went to Starbucks. I actually went inside the store, not the drive-thru - due to no kids in the car ;)... back on the road again to my pampering appt. for a deluxe pedicure. Oh man, that was so good. Delicious Starbucks and my book while my feet got pampered and the nice back massage from the chair I was chilling in. I can't tell you when I've read so many pages at once the last time (since the kids are around)... I don't think there wasn't any time for it since then... I literally was there for 2 hrs.... AMAZING!!! Afterwards I went shopping for the week, fresh and energized again... it was well needed.
We had our neighbors over for dinner. It was actually a date-dinner :) because we put the kids to bed before our neighbors arrived so it totally felt like a date night out *lol*...
First Time in my life... I made mussels. Wasn't that hard. I was super excited how they opened up each at their own time in my steaming wine sauce... fun to watch
Home Made Lasagne was the main dish and home made apple pie with Vienna Coffee (it has baileys in it *YUM*)
Today we had Krabbelgruppe... the German Group we meet every Monday Morning... none of my kids were into the singing :(... oh well... they were behaving though so I let it go today ;). Good day so far

Henry just LOVE to play... he doesn't need any entertainment. Both Zoe and Henry are perfectly fine just let them go and they're happy and find always something to play with

The big kids... all of them 2 yrs old and nothing but trouble sometimes *lol*... on the table, jumping onto the couch. Zoe loves it to be around boys only!
Who's peeking around the office door. Well, I might not have a cubicle neighbor but sometimes a little face peeking around the corner ;)... I think we're in a changing stage... nap time slowly fades away but I found a way to let the kids be awake if they don't wanna nap but they can't come into the office! We'll see how that works... if they won't work with me they'll have to go upstairs in their room again. I think that's only fair :).

The Frog and Toad

We had a very busy week somehow but not a regular week as we didn't meet with our weekly friends' play dates :(... but we had other friends over... here a picture of the two crazy heads... always eating (at least that counts for Henry). If he's not eating, he's complaining!!! ;) always have snacks with you and you'll survive a day without whiny Henry (maybe)...
Our Play date with the Neighbors, Zoe was so kind and took some pics! Lizzie:
Mary Margaret was able to join *YEAH*... she had an appointment work wise around the corner from home and remembered that we had our lunch date and stopped by for lunch... awesome
Guck Guck :)
On THU morning we had some other friends over and before the play date I spontaneously decided to make cupcakes. Zoe helped and is lately TOTALLY into eggs... (as you can see) *lol*
Today we went to the theatre and watched "The Frog and Toad". We met with Kristi and Kennedi who are new to our Michigan Mom's Group and enjoyed a nice play
Secret ingredient: 'Paci and Bibb'. The kids did great throughout the play, Zoe cracked up a few times and was very into the play. Henry enjoyed more the mommy cuddling time I think ;)
Lots of school classes were there. It was a nice time, looking forward to the next two plays I got the tickets for already.

Fun Filled Weekend With Friends

FR Night when I went out with friends to the pumpkin patch:
We had a fun filled weekend with friends in town :). Frank's best friend Doug and Paula came to town and enjoyed a family weekend with us. On SAT we went to the Belleville Fair were Zoe could do some fun things with Daddy :) like peeling an apple:
crafting a bracelet:

Lots of things to see like this old ambulance:

Old fire truck:
And little kittens and horses etc.:
It was a very nice fair:
Afterwards we went to the pumpkin patch to sit on another horse :)... drank some cider / coffee and ate a donut and called it a day /with the kids ;)

SAT night we had the baby sitter so we adults could go out to eat fancy dinner and I didn't have to feed anybody and could enjoy a whole meal without interruption *NICE*... it was very very good and I enjoyed every single minute of my time 'off' having a date with my hubby.
Here some pics Zoe took during the time, you can see we have to work on the blurriness a little ;)
