Jenny in Detroit

Our first visitors :)... and they were... Germans :). It was pretty amazing, last week Woelfchen (in Munich, Germany) contacted me and said that Jenny is going to visit me! 'Yeah, right!' I said... 'sure' ;). But he was right, it wasn't a joke... Jenny was sitting right next to him and we chatted and she told me that she's going to visit her good friend who just moved to Detroit with her husband. Isn't that a small world? Amazing... and sure enough, yesterday night the two girls came over and we hang out for a while and had a very nice chat. It was so unreal that the two were here but it was wonderful. It's amazing when the two worlds come together, my world in Germany and my world here in the USA. I wish I could have more of those amazing visits :). Here the proof... it's really us together in one place :)

We both enjoyed it so much, we hope that we can arrange another meeting maybe for dinner just before she's going to take off to good old Germany. THANKS Jenny to stop by, it was soooo good to have you guys here :)

Crooked truck

Look at this truck! We saw this truck today on a way to a sales call and I really thought this one was still driving... 'wow' I thought, 'it looks like it will tilt every moment'...and when we past it I saw it was being towed *lol*... I just have weird imaginations!!! Hihi... Well, that was a very interesting view... I hope the truck driver made it though... if you look at the truck drivers house it doesn't really look like it though... :(

29 weeks

Are there any volunteers out there who wanna carry my belly for a while??? Ojeeee... I'm getting bigger and bigger!!! My belly is getting in the way all the time now... :(... here it is... the 29 weeks big bellyBut nevertheless I'm trying to get things done even with being 'handicaped'... first thing today I tackled down was the oven. We have two but I only need one for now because I wanna do home made pizza today. So it had to be cleaned first... here the oven before the cleaning:
ui :)... and afterwards:
Since I was in Chicago this week I needed to take advantage of it and went shopping in the polish store :). Vanille Pudding von Dr. Oetker :)... just a few more minutes and I can eat it :)
Other than that nothing out of the normal day to day operation is happening here. I think I won't see my husband that much this weekend, his 'mission' for this weekend is to go through all his cartons in the basement and sort out what he wants to keep, wants to give away/ sell and throw away. Since it's so nice and sunny out today I'll tackle down the landscaping outside next. This morning I bought some tools for the garden and I should enjoy this wonderful day (by the way, we have 19 degrees Celcius outside right now) *hihi*... anybody still thinks Michigan isn't a state to live in? *big smile*. I have to say it is so wonderful... the city we live in has everything that you need or it'll be next door, nice and not to big. The people are nice, the lake is just awesome, on the way home or leaving home we always pass the lake and enjoy the wonderful view... it's so awesome. And I don't even start talking about our house ;)... we really won the lottery... I'm telling you.
Ok, let's get ready for the next project to work on... first some pudding *yammi* :).

Taking the first walk

Ok, I'm BACK... ok ok... we'll see how long I'll last, but today I took my first walk outside again after quite a while. I haven't been to a gym since the first trimester, I was just too tired and then with all the other stuff going on in our life, there wasn't really any room and energy for workout. Since I didn't wanna clean again tonight I had to do something else with all my energy today and decided for a nice walk outside. It was great... here some pics.I was all wrapped up :)...
The trees were so red, next time I need to bring my camera with me for some better pics :)

An afternoon in the office

Today I had to work from home for the rest of the day because we had a water leak again in the basement and we had to let the plumber in to get it fixed. Now it's all good again :). While I was working in our new office I was able to catch some interesting stuff that was going on outside, I'm telling you it's awesome up there... I can survive working from home in this great office :). Here is our landscaper on the roll... I was very impressed when he unloaded his trailer, he had so many 'machines'... incredible:What a view from the office, can you imagine working like this every day? Uuuhhh, I can :). Do you see the lake? Now with the leaves all gone, we actually have a lake view :)
This was a cool machine he had, his loan mower with his trailer trash can... AWESOME... It looked like a Go-Cart, I bet it's fun driving it.

28 weeks

Oki doki, here we are again... Thurdays are our 'turning' days when we enter the next week. I figured I'm gonna show her off again :). My Harley T-Shirts are getting tight :(... I have the feeling that she's laying around differently every day... my belly just has a different look every day... too funny!Zoe is moving around a lot, the last couple of days she was very quiet though, today she was very active again... pretty uncomfortable is her water walk she's doing... makes me go to the restroom way too often.
