Play Dough

Yesterday at our walk we saw our neighbors 500lbs pumpkin!!! It's REAL.. his dad has a farm and is growing the biggest ones... crazy, isn't it? Have you ever seen such a huge pumpkin???
These two... always into something... Zoe can now turn on the light... on... off... on... off... and Henry is watching and learning, i'm sure ;)
Play Dough, Henry's first time! He finally was allowed to play along as well... Zoe always gets in trouble since she ends up wanting to eat it!!! As soon as they started doing play dough I remembered why I put it up the the highest shelf last time!!! Urgh!
We made a glove for Zoe :), she loved it

These two are playing together so nicely. My friend Mary Margaret was over today... she hasn't seen the kids in a while and noticed it a lot how much they play together now.

My Urban Toddler

Trimming...

Ok, here now the results :)... I'm super proud of myself. Yesterday afternoon I killed the rest of the bushes, this time with both kids outside but they were doing great.
A picture BEFORE Rona took action :)

My little helper yesterday:
Zoe is telling Henry what 'not to do'... *LOL*
And AFTER!!! There are still some branches left on the stupid tree in the front of my office window... they were too tall for me to reach / too dangerous to cut down while Zoe was running around so that'll go this weekend when I can sneak out for a minute 'alone' ;). Look at the bushes in front of the garage, super proud of them! When we moved in they were spirals but it all grew out as the years went by... our gardener doesn't really do cutting back bushes...

I can FINALLY look out the window again, my only entertainment during working hrs, come on ;)... the tree was just covering up the whole house... now you can actually see our house again :). It was supposed to be a weeping tree but after the first time our gardener cut it back it came back crazy growing... :(... now it's not a weeping anymore so we'll have to do drastic cutting every year on it probably.

It feels GOOD! Clean :)... we're ready for the next season... so glad I finally took care of this. It was on my list for three years and every year we were looking into somebody else cutting it back. Well, I just saved us a good amount of $150 :)... Go Me :)

BBQ and Farm

Yesterday we were invited to a BBQ at Silke & Joe's. Unfortunately I forgot to take more pics :(. Zoe and Janos were having a blast playing as always.

Ms. Laura :)
They've grown so much... stupid me didn't take any pics from Emma and Henry :(.
Today I enjoyed my grocery shopping alone and in the afternoon I took the kids to another farm further away. It was a little bummer since it was so far away and then barely people there and the rain didn't help much either :(. But on the up-hand side we always have a great time of course and I finally brought my quarters to feed the goats :)

We even went on a hayride just us :)...
My little goofball :)

Since it was raining we were home earlier than planned so Zoe and I cleaned up our yard ;)... I'm cracking up since our 'cleaning up' was basically cutting back the bushes / trees... and who knows me... knows that now we have barely anything left *LOL*. Frank was shocked... but I was super happy and felt amazing to get something else done than work or cooking or taking care of the kids ;). Our house is now the one with the naked bushes *lol*... and Zoe was a big helper and super excited to do something just with mommy.

Marching Band Parade

My little munchkin just after she finished her 'phone call' with daddy sitting in front of the oven, checking herself out *toofunny* but she's very serious about it
In the afternoon we went to the Homecoming Parade from a High School. It was fun, Zoe loved it!!! Unfortunately it rained but that didn't bother us much. A shot just before the parade started:
The last part is the cutest :). I always get compliments on the kids when I go out. It's pretty awesome and I enjoy every one of them :)
Since Frank wasn't feeling well we enjoyed a dinner out... well, Henry was enjoying ripping the biscuits apart *lol*
While Zoe who was supposed to eat the chicken was totally into the mashed potatoes with gravy which were originally for Henry! We ended up bringing most of the chicken back home... wasn't long after our arrival and the rest of the chicken was gone *lol*... I guess Frank was hungry ;).
And another great day has come to an end.
Henry just loves to play, we were home and the kids were playing before bedtime... Henry is here and there and walks around with the crocodile walker and as soon as I said: 'It's time to go to bed'...  Henry stopped playing immediately and crawled in high speed towards the gate to the stairs *lol*... Frank and I were cracking up. Also Henry knows now how to go down the stairs... I'll make a movie soon, it's just too cute how he rushes to the end of the stairs, smiling big times and being totally excited... then slowly turning around and trying to succeed going down the stairs. It's just adorable...
