Wow... all of a sudden it all went so quick! Ok... here now our birth story. I started having contractions on Feb, 2nd just before the day ended at 11:45PM. For sure I was hoping that this is the real deal and they'll still be there when I wake up! Sure enough they were... but somehow they were only 10 min apart throughout the whole day... and then they're getting less intense so I figured it won't happen anytime soon.
Well... I went into the bathtub and they were less and less heavy and then I just went to bed at 8PM on Feb, 3rd to get some rest and just 'breath' through the contractions. Well... they were getting so intense at that time and we started tracking the time again, but nothing closer than 6 min. apart and not very regularly either! :(
Hhhmmm... well... Frank saw that the contractions were getting very intense and that they're getting harder and harder and then I lost the mucus plug as well and he said that we should go to the hospital. Ok... after a while I was ready to go. Car was already packed by that time (Frank ran up and down to get everything organized in between tracking the contractions).
When we arrived in the hospital I was only 1cm dialated and that wasn't enough for me to stay and go into real labor... well... Frank and I didn't wanna go home again plus the contractions were getting very hard.
Next checkup I was already dialated 3-4cm and they decided for me to admit me... wooohooo... so while they were preparing our room and also getting organized in order to get the bathtub running I should've been rolled over in a wheelchair into the other room but by that time all of a sudden I was dialated 9cm!!! Just like that... WOW... ok... they rolled me over in a bed while I had to work my way through the contractions. Frank always on my side which helped me tons to get through them. Since I was so quickly 'ready to almost push' they haven't had time to get the bathtub running for me so I ended up delivering in bed while sitting with a bar where I could pull myself up or hang on... that was pretty good as well. Once I got the clue how to push right it went pretty quick again and she was there in no time.
Zoe got a ranking of: 9.9 out of 10... such a good and healthy baby :). And they were pretty amazed how good we did and also 'fast'... well... german efficiency, what else can we say here ;). I kind of knew that once we go into the hospital it goes all very quick...
She was born at 3:32 AM EST on February, 4th and weights: 7lbs and 13 oz (3500 grams) and measured 20.5 inch (52.1 cm).
She's so adorable... when she came out and she was laying on my belly... I just couldn't believe it!!! It was sooo unreal!!! Wow...
Right now Daddy and Baby are taking a nap... they're both very exhausted ;). Me too but i'm just too 'up' right now to sleep! I always went on 'vacation' in between the contractions... I'm telling you... the DVD we saw they said, enjoy the time in between the contractions and don't complain about the pain (because it won't make it away anyways)... so I kind of 'zoomed' out in between, once I almost fell asleep *lol*... too funny. But enjoying the time in between so much helps a lot. And as planned no drugs :)... it's not that bad! If you have the right support and you're letting your body tell you what to do and rest in between... no drugs needed at all!
I breast fed Zoe already and also that went awesome, she was drinking for over half an hour right the first time!!! Thirsty child :)... no complications at all. So we're good to go with everything :). Now I'm gonna continue starring at this beautiful baby:

I'm gonna post some more pics of course... she's our new star of our Blog ;)... we're so happy and glad that everything went so well. I'm already walking around here with no problems... all cool :)...
