House Hunting

Can you believe to 'waste' a completely awesome day to a handy man appt?!
Jup... that just happened to me today. I was so excited for my day today but then the plumber arrived of course in the later part of his appt. spot and then he couldn't fix it right away and was pulling out his hair - I missed my gym class and now that he finally fixed it after HOURS it's almost time to pick up the kids again... so so sad but at least it's done. I got a few more cartons packed which is not bad either but I was so excited to go to the gym today.
In the last few weeks I've just been taking care of doc appt. / check ups and getting things taken care of. One of the things was getting my tires aligned, oil changed and fun stuff like that.
In the meantime I'm packing daily a little bit and the cartons are filling up quickly... we've exceeded way more than my 23 cartons that I came with *lol*.
We're house hunting as well. Our sale has been going so smooth it's really nice but the uncertainty of what we're getting into is a big nerve wrecking I have to admit.
Frank was just there and looked at houses and we decided one of them would be a great option so we're going through the process now of making an offer etc.! We've already put in an offer on another house we both really liked but after a few counters the sellers decided that they don't want to sell after all!!! Quite weird but I guess it happens and I'm happy for them to keep the home. The kids are super excited for Charleston and are counting the weeks left of school.
Me packing *lol*... sorting out... never ending it seems but I know there will be an end in sight.
Goofing with my goofballs
The weather finally took a change of heart and we are enjoying our trips outdoors again. Woot Woot... this one was a super long winter but I'm sure only because we're leaving and MI knew I'd miss this cold weather a bit more than other family members :).
Hopefully next time I'll have some good house news for y'all :).

News...

Aaahhh, this feels great... I missed my blog a ton. Peeps, how have you guys been?
As you can see I'm giving you some fun news that I can share with you. Frank has been living in Detroit now for about 10 years and for me it has been about 8.5 years and we're finally making it work to go back to where he would like to retire. I'll check out the place for myself and then we'll see if we both like it there. The kids are excited and Henry cannot wait to get rid of his long pants and Zoe makes all kind of plans already for the beach and her new school and being with her aunt and uncle.
I have applied to go back to work with the company that has transferred me over to the USA and I have to say I'm super excited. Of course I'm a little heart broken to not spend that much time with the kids but I assume we'll work it all out and we will all do great. There are so many working moms out there if they can do it, I can do it too.
I'm still the crazy Plexus Lady and I love every single day of it. We're having so much fun with the team, the team is growing and we've added amazing people and the products have helped me so much I am super happy where I am with everything right now. I'm super active with workouts :)... in the gym every day if I can make it and enjoying my fit body for once :).
I also did something really cool for myself :). I became a Zumba Instructor... I've fallen in love with Zumba so much that I've decided to become an Instructor and even though I wanted to do it for myself only now I'm preparing my first class / practicing the routines and all :). I'm beyond thrilled for this new adventure and super excited about everything. I still am not as fit to be able to lead a full hour class but my instructors in the gym are encouraging me to lead a song or two during their classes and they guide me along to succeed. I'm super excited and couldn't be happier at this moment.
Hope everyone is having an amazing spring. Our temperatures here in Michigan are still very chilly and we hope that we'll warm up very soon over here... everyone is READY for spring.

I'm back

Hi guys,
not sure if anyone is still checking in here on a regular basis and I'm very sorry that I've truly neglected this very important part of my life, my story and my way of sharing my life with you. I've just not found time to spend writing on my blog but new things are coming again this summer and I am determined to document all of those for everyone and myself to read later in life again.

We've had an amazing time since you last heard from me. It only has been since October ;). I've done a lot of self development and seeing where I want to head next and where our family needs to head and so on and I believe we've found our new journey together in this. We're excited for new adventures to come and we'll keep you updated on every single event, I promise. I will def. carve out time from now on since I've missed writing a lot as well.

Hope everyone is doing great and enjoying the spring in the upcoming weeks and taking care of their health and wealth :).

School in session

Well, since school is in session you'd think I have more time but somehow it didn't quite work that way for some reason *lol*...
We've been busy being sick for a week and then celebrating Henry's birthday and constantly baking and cooking to feed the family which I absolutely love. So life is good :) :) :).

In the middle of it all we had to find a Homecoming Dress for Inga and that is sometimes a bit tricky to go shopping after school with the two munchkins patiently waiting ;)...
We spent some time at Chuck E. Cheese since we kind of started that tradition on their birthdays
OMG... look at that cupcake dough... makes me want to whip up the next one right now :)
Birthday Celebration in the making... lots of cooking and baking. I couldn't help it :)
Pumpkin Quiche
Henry's Bday Cake (Sacher Torte)

And the loudest 'Happy Birthday' I've ever heard... it was AMAZING

4H has started as well and swimming for the little ones... we are BUSY *lol*. Inga has to go to morning practice 3 times a week that means being in the pool at 530am and every day after school besides FR. We're enjoying our life to the fullest :)

Back to School 2017/2018

Aaaaand, here we gooooo....
School started on Sept. 5th... everybody was excited and I had my first day of school meeting with my German friends for coffee and cake :). It was super awesome. We loved it and we survived our first day home alone without any issues :).
Inga was a bit nervous but it went very well for her and she was super excited about how everything is going when she got home :).
One pic with the three of them :)
Styled and dressed and they're ready to start their school day as well.

It was super cool having the van to myself ... it's still strange leaving the house by myself and I don't have to tell anybody to put on their shoes or don't forget this or that... but now after almost 2 weeks I've gotten the hang of it and I'm not even noticing it being different ;).
First Pickup... kids had a great day and Henry loves school... Zoe gave us a bit trouble the first few days with not wanting to go back but that's forgotten now and they like going to school :).
A must - Frosty boy on the first day of school and we ran into our friend Jen with Grace who also went there to celebrate Grace's first day of school :).
That's how fun my mornings look... 4 lunch boxes to fill but it's fun... I like it... makes me feel good to know that the kids have good food and I gave them a little bit of love on the way :)
Finally got Zoe's desk - it's so quick getting something now. You just walk in and out... getting a lot more stuff done with less effort :).
Nightly pickups are becoming a regular again with Inga going on swim meets with the team... not bad though since I always have my work with me and get some emails done or messages out.
Zoe started keeping her Teddy in the car so she has it at Pickup and I have company all day ;)... sweet
Pony Rides on the Orchard.

Happy Birthday... party time

Inga likes our American Breakfast so we somehow started doing it every Sunday now :)... since Frank was gone I invited my friends over to have some company and they all loved it.
Desk assembly :)... let's do it
Movie Night
Another perk now is that I can go to the events without thinking twice... makeup artists were in town and I got all set with a new look... well... I got to learn new tricks :)... loved it...
Inga's first swim competition was going on yesterday night and we cam to cheer her on. Don't mind those kids... they're goofballs...
Tonight we have friends over for dinner and Zoe wanted to have the beef stew again which we haven't had in a very long time... the house smells so delicious... yum

I also made some cookies and will make more in a little bit that we can decorate. Have to have some fun stuff for the kids to entertain them :). I missed baking a lot... can't believe I haven't baked in so long...

Last End of Summer Fun

We've had a terrific last few weeks of summer and made the MOST out of it :). We're into painting rocks at the moment and then we hide them and also we look for new ones and try to re-hide them as well. It's a lot of fun and something creative for us to do. Here are some of our treasures :).
It was quite tough finding left handed scissors for Henry just before school started and I totally forgot to maybe look for those earlier but anyway... every time we went to the store we went through the whole scissors pile and we actually found ONE that was boy colors before school started ;).
We spent one day at this fun place called CJ Barrymore... my first go-cart ride and Henry came along *lol*... first I drove like a mom but after I ended up being the last one I picked up my game and Henry was super quiet and was just smiling ;)... really fun
Inga tried the zip line - oh my... that was too crazy for me but she loved it
Henry went on his first Laser Tag outing :)
Video Games are always fun

Chapman *lol*
It was hilarious
My friend Marilyn...

The next day we went to the Imagination Station after Inga's swim practice. It was great and everybody had a good time

Then we added another day at Greenfield Village... I absolutely love this place. And we had a great time again... probably heading there on the weekend as well :).

And the Toledo Zoo was also on our list.

We actually found a painted rock at the zoo from Virginia!!! That was so awesome... we'll re-hide it in Michigan :)
It was football time at the Highschool and although it was super cold we made it until halftime so Inga could enjoy the spirit of highschool football ;)

That's how we paint rocks :)
Leftover Heaven... I absolutely enjoy cooking more now since Inga is here...
On the weekend we made our way to the Airshow and look what greeted us right at the beginning? A german bird :)... with Germans on board... it was sooo cool
