In der Weihnachtsbaeckerei

Our little Sunshine in the morning:
Yesterday Night I hosted a really fun Ladies' Night - Baking Cookies! We organized it so well that within 4 hrs together we came up with so many cookies... it was too many for 5 families *lol*.
Jenny and I prepared already four doughs prior to start and so did Eva. The rest that didn't really need to stay in the fridge for a long time we made right then and there and it was a big hit...

Bunte Platzchen, Vanille Kipferl, Schoko Crossis, Zimtgebaeck, Cream Cheese Spirals,
Zimtsterne, Zitronentaler, Nougat Kipferl und Kokosmakronen :)... anybody need any cookies?
Carola, Adelheid, Eva, Heike, Ulla ich und Jenny (left to right)
Zoe was very upset that she couldn't join our ladies night. When I told her it's a mom's night she right away noticed Ulla and Jenny being there and they are not Moms! Too smart that little lady. But now I had to promise her to do a ladies night with her sometime soon :)... oki dok, we'll do :).

The two are fighting about the playmobil catalogue. Guess what Santa will bring them? :)

Busy Holiday Prep Time

Some pics from Leia my little niece :).

Jenny getting a manicure :)
Leia goes home... very exciting day:
On FR Dec 12th I took the teens to help at a church event where families adopt families in need and give them a christmas they are not able to have this year. I thought this was a very great event to get the kids active and help and to see the joy in the kids and parents that have a lot more struggles than we think you can have. Even Santa made its appearance and we had a great time making this day so very special for these families in need:

Play Date at Sarah's SAT morning

Janos' Birthday Party SAT afternoon (yes, we're crazy busy all over the place)

even Eva had an amazing time :)... next time I really need to bring my normal camera so pics like this are not so blurry!

SUN afternoon we had a German Kaffee Kraenzchen at Eva's place and did some christmas crafts with the kids afterwards. It was really great
SUN morning we got our tree and put it up already while the kids couldn't wait to decorate it they started already... cracked me up!

TUE after we had a nice dinner we finally got all the toys removed from the tree and we decorated it very very beautiful. This tree is really amazing looking... we love it.
THU at Xtreme Bounce... the kids are really good at air hokey

Even Henry scored a couple of times :)... how cute

Ok, now up to date again :). Time to load up my small camera I finally found it *lol*... gotta take some better pics next time.

Leia arrived :)

Lots of news today :). Well let's start off with our weekend adventures. Der Nikolaus came to the German School Nikolausfeier on SAT and we had a wonderful time:
Every morning the kids LOVE to look for their little doors to open / present to open:
What did we get today?!
The Nikolaus brought them a coloring set with butterflies for Zoe and a car / airplane kit for Henry. We had a lot of fun painting on Sunday Morning:

SUN afternoon we went to Micha's House where he invited for a white elephant exchange christmas party. The kids had a blast and I also had a very good time chatting with friends.

MON we went to the Henry Ford Museum and look who filmed there?! Rocco is his name I think. It was very cool to see. Of course the minute we were sitting there 'watching' they came to us and told us to be quiet etc. even though our kids were quiet at the moment... :(... I guess when they see four toddlers together it only calls for loud noises....

Henry was so tired I had to wake him up in order to pick up Zoe... they just look soooo peaceful don't they?
Leia arrived on Dec 8th 8:34pm Germany Time, 52cm and 3600g. My sister Jela's little Girl: Guess who was super excited for a new baby girl cousin?!
