patio is ready

This weekend was great. We went out as a family on Saturday shopping and had breakfast. Zoe did great and we had a good time. On Sunday Frank got the BBQ ready and I helped a little bit on the patio and got rid of some grass between the stones. Oh man... we have such a great home. Can't wait to sit outside and enjoy it as well. The temperature dropped again below 20 Degrees C but it's very nice and sunny outside. We still take our daily walk of course and Zoe enjoys it outside a lot.
Since I don't have time next weekend to sort Zoe's clothes out I started doing it already last weekend as well. All newborn clothes are out of her closet in a carton :( and I started getting the 3-6 months clothes out... man do we have a lot... I hope she can wear it all... It's very nice for her because it's not so tight and still very loose so it's easy to be put on and off. She still fits in her 0-3 months clothes but we didn't have that many. Now her closet almost explodes!!! I got so excited this morning when I dressed her... I couldn't decide which outfit to choose first. Can't wait to put her in each and every outfit and take pictures :)... ok ok, she's not a doll, but it's so much fun dressing her in all her cute outfits. Here some pics from today, our little sunshine. She smiles already so much and reacts with smiles to our talking and she talks... we don't understand her yet but she's sooo much fun :)
I think this outfit is from grandmom :)...
Frank will be home soon *YEAH*... he's gonna leave for Las Vegas on Wednesday :(... I miss him already, but he'll be back on FR. So I have something to look forward to already :) and the girls come on FR as well... sooo much to look forward to then :)

Zoe got a mobile

Zoe is still going to sleep in our bedroom until the main danger zone time of SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome) is over (most SIDS happen in the age of 2-4 months). There is not really anything for Zoe to look at in our bedroom so it's pretty boring since she's started to look at things. I decided to get her a mobile matching her 'room design' and I installed it on the bassinet. You can see, she loves it. It was so cute, when I put her in the bassinet right after I installed it, she looked up and smiled a little bit, then I turned it on and she smiled big times. Unfortunately I couldn't capture it then, but the second time was almost as good ;).

You know one... you know them all...

It's pretty amazing, first I had no contacts at all, and all of a sudden they come out of each corner :). You still know Silke and Alex we met two weeks ago? Yeah, Silke told me of the 'Krabbelgruppe' (crawling group) with only german moms and kids *BIG SMILE*. They meet twice a month. One day for breakfast (in the wintertime) and in the sommertime they meet at playgrounds. And one day a week for the 'Krabbelgruppe' where they do games and sing songs with the kids. So yesterday I met a bunch of them for breakfast and it was a blast. Funny thing, the youngest of the group was born 2 hrs after Zoe! Isn't that cool? Here a picture of Max and Zoe:Zoe felt so comfortable in Max's little area but Max couldn't go to sleep and was up all the time. Zoe again did sooo great. We have such a wonderful baby. Everything worked out great and also with work we got used to a routine and manage everything very good.
I'm sooo happy :). We live such a great life and enjoy ourselves. Zoe is becoming more and more fun each day... now she starts holding her head up more and more. Max does it already pretty good, but maybe it's because he's a man and they're normally stronger anyways. Max has two older sisters, 4 and 2 years old. And there were many other very nice ladies and many kids. I was a little bummed coming home and there was this big silence again in the house! Well... in two weekends our house is full again with our friends from Chicago *yeah* and then we're having a BBQ party... that'll be a blast :).

the summer is coming, yeah :)

A cute smile I still had on my IPhone:
and a picture for Andrea and family :)... took it a few days ago when it was colder outside. See it's still too big for her, so it was totally ok that the package took so long. And the chocolate is almost gone ;). Thank you so much for everything :).
Yesterday we had a great time at Franziska's with a total of four couples and two babies. Annika will send me her pics so I can blog them, here some I took. Of course I had to dress her up a little ;)
Zoe and Nicolas taking a nap:
Alright, now to today. It's so great outside. Zoe and I took a very nice walk. It's 20 Degrees Celcius and the sun is shining... next weekend we're going to get our patio ready. Maybe we're going to find some garden furniture so we can sit outside and enjoy the outside more.
I took a little break at the lake and just to sunk in the nice view and the quietness, the weather and the great life we're living :)
Back home I had to change her outfit into a summer one... It was too gorgeous outside so we had to match her clothes. When Dana brought the baby clothes mom used to dress the four of us in, we were both looking at each other with big question marks in our eyes and a smile on our face when we saw this little outfit!!! *hihi*... but I have to say, it is pretty cute:
