Happy Halloween!!!

Trick and threat was also very popular in our office. The colleagues brought their kids for a little while to work and went with them from cubical to cubical.

Minneapolis, MN

it was time again for the next business trip to Minneapolis :). Stephanie and I made our way to the airport in the morning and flew back home in the evening. Unfortunatelly our flight was delayed and we couldn't get on the earlier flight that was also delayed. But we were talking so much about this and that that the time went by so quickly plus we did a little windowshopping at the MSP airport.

Doesn't it look funny from above??? Very flat everything and then Minneapolis downtown with a few bigger buildings :)... I enjoy my life a lot... :). The tickets for the next businesstrip to Denver are already booked :). *jippi*... and today my boss signed the absense report for my vacation days that I'll take for the thanksgiving week to make our roadtrip to Doug and Dana. John und I are looking forward to the week a lot :).

Indian Summer

Today I went to dinner with Sandra and Jared. We had a great time talking and if we wouldn't have to wake up so early tomorrow we would still be sitting there talking :). Before I picked them up I made some pics... isn't that colorful? I loved it...

Looking for Apartments

This weekend we've looked for apartments again. We've decided to move into the Naperville area which is a very nice one. It's very green and they have amazing areas with beautiful houses... wow... we've driven through a few areas a lot lately and I really love the area plus John's friends live around in that area which is a perfect match.

Training in Chicago

...another training was scheduled for the last couple of days. We learned a lot about and had a great time. This group is awesome. We are all Sales People (except of me) from all over the USA :). This was the second part, the third part will be held in the end of november or january (our trainer wasn't sure yet). Here are some pics how it looks like when the brains are on fire :)

Here you can see Steve smiling. We always sit together in trainings and support each other. He is one of the Sales Guys in Chicago I support within my IT position. It's a lot of fun working together with him :).

Oktoberfest

Today our company threw an 'Oktoberfest' Party. Sandra and I signed in for watching the frontdoor for an hour and buzzing in the people that need to use the restrooms. Since we were the 'first' shift we were totally not busy and used the hour to talk a little bit about this and that... here you can see us both sitting brave with the funny hats:

The party was so and so... not really my kind of thing. The food was ok and the whole party setup was great (I was on the Oktoberfest Committee too by the way *g*).

John and I left the party in time because the CUBS are in the 'Play Offs' (Baseball) and my Cutie is at the moment swearing and yelling at the TV *lol*...

Outlet Mall Shopping

Today we've met with 6 German Girls for a German brunch in my apartment. We had a great time chatting and made our way to the Outlet Mall for a shopping tour after our stomaches were filled. Sandra and Mareike brought another German Girl on board who lives with her husband across my street. Isn't that funny? Her name is also Sandra (yes, watch out... now we're getting also additional Sandra's here) and she & her husband Jared moved to Schaumburg three month ago and haven't really made friends around here. Jared joined us girls with our shopping tour. Here you can see: Jared & Sandra, Mareike and Sandra:

This was a great Sunday and we all look forward to more of those great times in the future.
