I forgot what the occasion was why we went out eating Sushi... Zoe might've had a great test result or something... there was something that we wanted to celebrate... oh yes I remember... Zoe had ballet and we finally were able to 'watch' her. Her room is in the corner so the parents cannot see anything from the waiting room but the last practice of the month or so they let the parents go inside the studio and let them watch the kids dance. Needless to say she didn't want to dance for the other parents or me (just another excuse to not go to ballet) but I mentioned that we can celebrate the little recital with a dinner out at her favorite Sushi place - and it worked :) (I still had to use up the coupon that was about to expire anyway so it worked out for all of us). Zoe even tried Calamari and she LOVED it... that child is something! Fine with me... I consider Sushi being healthy :). And Henry loves his little rolls with just cucumber in it... everybody is happy
January we were able to go into the Willow Run Museum (in our little town) for free and if we can get something free and spend some quality time together - we take it :). It was fun... it wasn't very big but the kids loved it and we spent a few hours there which was really cool.Tuesday, February 14, 2017

Fire and Ice Festival
January is coming slowly to an end and we had another 'Fire and Ice Festival' in Rochester that we wanted to see. This time however it was so warm that it was more like a 'Fire and Fog Festival' how I called it *lol* (it was super foggy in the morning of the day).
Here some fun shots from the days prior: Making a puzzle before heading to school... why not? We have enough time it seems ;)...
Henry has to bring a show and tell for school and it literally was the very first time he would want to bring one and he decided on bringing a 'Helicopter' for the letter 'H'... this little cute yellow one he mentioned 'Opa' gave him. He still remembers. It's amazing what they save in their brains!!!Here now the festival... they had to improvise from ice and snow activities to warmer weather activities... but they did great:
Going on a horse carriage ride...
Fun
The houses in downtown were still light up and it looked sooo amazing!
Afterwards we treated ourselves for some 'Oberweis' Icecream, the best you can get here... YUM
They have chess games inside the tables there which is such a fun idea to occupy the kids while they're munching on their ice cream or just waiting for it ;)

Imagination Station - Toledo, OH
Cool start into the week... yesterday we had a day off because of Martin Luther King Jr. and today we got a call at 6am that school is off ;)... Icy Road Conditions and so we spent our day at the gym (ZUMBA) and headed afterwards to Toledo, OH to the Imagination Station... the kids had a blast and so did I. It was a perfect day.
2017 here we come...
Happy New Year! I guess my priorities have changed a bit ;) barely posting anymore ... taking less pictures but I'm spending much more quality time these days with those fast growing munchkins.
We're starting the year with Belgium Waffles loaded up to the rim :)... YUM
The Henry Ford Museum and my little hot dog :)
The design of the minivan is literally sucking up all the stones flying up on the roads and I have busted nowadays both fog lights. Since my parking sensor got hit last time too and it needed to be replaced I took care of all three things at once and look at that sexy front :)... back to bz baby :)
Playing games...
Playdate with friends
Ice Festival... it was bbbrrrr cold but great sculptures
New pants for that dude but. We're finally back to wearing long pants... at least when we're leaving the house ;)
80th day of school and here is my hip 80ies Girl :)
Shopping with Henry and he found himself a new shirt!!! ;)
My daughter and the fashionista... I have to hide my jewelry from her because she would love to have it all. I figured I could give her my 'kids stuff'... she adores it and it looks pretty good on her :)
Dragon ears :)
Sunday Night I had my friends over for a Ladies' Night In since Frank was out of town :). The kids wanted to have the same experience so we had a 2nd time Raclette just the three of us, they loved it. It was sooo yummy....
... after 2 hrs of digesting a chocolate fondue for desert... that wasn't a good idea, I was about to burst. It was way too much food for me... omg... but it was so delicious.
