Ice Cream, Joghurt Ice... a somewhat healthy week *lol*

Oh, here we start with a shopping trip to the mall on TUE with an unhealthy choice but not really since we always eat every good and every now and than you can eat something not so healthy. Makes it even more special :). We enjoyed a great little shopping trip to the mall with some mini pretzel dogs :).
After the girls were back from school we took them to hobby lobby but since the last time the kids really went nuts in that store I didn't want to go in there and went into buy buy baby instead and treated them for a yoghurt ice afterwards which was apparently very good :).

Another shopping trip. I think I needed some tools for the garden but Walmart didn't have them anymore :(... the kids love all the christmas stuff and take pictures from everything they want from Santa *ohboy*...
I was texting with Bjoern when those little munchkins came and gave me a cuddlesandwich :)... I guess they're very happy kids :)
THU I got a call from the Jenny's school at 530am... school cancelled! YES!!! I turned back around and snoozed for another hour or so and so did Jenny we both really enjoyed this day off :). I took the girls to an outlet mall an hour away that is indoors and they got some really good finds and I had a very good time with the little ones.
They had an ice palace from 'Frozen' luckily there wasn't a line so we got in pretty quick and the kids really enjoyed it.

They had 'snow' fallen down in the dome. All over the clothes ... but at night it was all out of their hair but maybe two flakes ;)

They didn't want to sit with Santa but they really liked that he gave them a frozen book anyway.
Playtime

And because it was such a great day another ice cream treat *lol*... ok but that was enough ice cream for this week :).

Yesterday (FR) I took the kids to the Horse Show. We didn't have anything planned and so I checked what's going on in the neighborhood and this horse show came up and Jenny loved the idea so we went and we had a really good time. I was impressed by how many horses were in that hall... everybody was happy :)

ups... popcorn... ok ok maybe not the healthiest week we had but I can tell you the rest of the meals were all healthy *lol*...

Start into Nov

Nothing better than a burger night in :). Every now and then we get to make burger with fries but it just tastes so much better when Frank makes them on the grill however lately I can't convince him to stand outside for too long since the temperatures dropped quite a bit and tomorrow they are actually going to drop a lot so we'll have around freezing temps for the next week :(. But that's ok... I better get my christmas decoration up before it's getting too cold. I'm excited that I get to decorate this year again since last year we didn't do any decorations since we spent most of our christmas time in Germany. But on the other hand it makes me really sad that I'm not in Germany soon... my sisters due date for her first baby is coming closer and the closer it comes the more sad it makes me that I cannot share this special moment with her in Germany. I'm so excited for her and can't wait for the little baby girls arrival and another niece in our family :).

Grace's Birthday Party was a blast.

Yesterday I went to the Henry Ford Museum with Micha and his kids and we had a really good time doing a scavenger hunt and all the other fun things with Macy's 2nd Monday. They do special things for the little ones which makes it always a lot of fun to go those days besides that it's always a joy going to the Henry Ford Museum :)

Roary, the Detroit Lions Mascot even visited
