The Lights Before Christmas - Toledo Zoo

The Zoo goes crazy!!! It takes about 2.5 months to put them up and also to take them down again! But I guess people love it so much that they do it every year again. It was very nice but just crazy!!! ;)
The Toledo Zoo puts up lights in their trees / landscaping etc.:
We began the trip with a giant cookie and coffee for mommy :)

The Tigers were pretty active

Henry was walking around in the zoo for the first time... and he ALWAYS had to have something to eat in his hands. I have no idea what it is with boys eating all day long ;)

The Lions were 'roaring'... Zoe is listening and wondering where it comes from... 'Do you hear that?'

Zoe wanted me to take a picture in front of all the lights... she loved it. She really missed the zoo :)
Watching the elephants

They even had a row of trees that were lighting up with the rhythm of the music that was playing.
The kids loved it and wanted to dance to the music. Zoe even wanted to go back dancing...
A spider crawling down... creepy
An overview...
Taking a train ride... 'Ready Set Gooooooo'

Tired!!! ;)

Henry's World comes to an End

Throwing Fits... if it's not going his way... he can be very good in being dramatic....

Cookies and Milk with Santa

Today we went to see 'Santa'. I wasn't expecting to get a picture with the kids and Santa, I knew better than that ;)... but slowly introduce the kids to that weird man in the red coat and long beard is a good way of starting the Tradition ;)...
Henry and Owen
Zoe and Kaitlyn are crafting
Oh... Henry has a much more interesting thing there... a pen?
I want it! - And I won't let it go!

Cookies... YUM

Delicious

Look at this little Handsome Man!!! He's growing!!!

Kimberly and her kids... it was worth a try but Santa is very intimidating I guess ;)

Jungle Java on Monday:

TUE I went to Chicago for a day and Frank took off and spent the day with the kids. I think they really enjoyed it.

WED we went to Story Time in our Library in Town:
And in the afternoon we went and had some fun in the Mall:
A boy!!! Not very safe and eventually he fell off this thing but live and learn, right? ;)
A tired Henry on THU... he just got three molars. I'm sure the fourth one is there too. He's very cuddly

Janos' 3rd Birthday

Zoe's best friend Janos turned 3 and Zoe was sooo excited to sing 'Happy Birthday' for Janos, giving him the present, she basically ran him over coming into the door, handing him the present and telling him "Happy Birthday". She wanted to carry the present and then helped him unwrap it.

Lately... as long as Henry has something to eat in his hands, he's happy. If not... well, then he's trying to get something to eat somehow... being whiny is one of the options. He's getting a mind of his own and man does he wants to be independent. Early Starter!!!
I thought he might be easier than Zoe, he def. was easier as a baby but he knows what he wants: FOOD!!! ;) He's still easy but we're having already fits and I can't remember Zoe starting that early. He's really getting super mad if I feed him. Well, I won't let him feed his oatmeal himself if he's not using the spoon but you should've seen the scene he made yesterday morning about it! Oh my oh my! But on the good side both kids seemed to be very independent and that's always a good feature in life.
Super excited to sing "happy birthday" sitting right next to her buddy *too cute*
and wanting to help blowing out the candle!!! She LOVES birthdays, specially if it's her best buddy or brother. I can't wait for her birthday to come along and see how much she'll be into it this year. She'll totally know what's going on.
