Another lovely Day

I'm running out of 'titles' ;)... today was the first morning when both kids were ready to have 'breakfast'... kind of challenging but since I only can take care of one at a time, one had to be sad for a little bit. Henry is increasing my milk supply, little milk sucker! And today I needed to wash our bedding... urgh... but I'm happy. It's so funny... I'm soooo tired but I'm soooo happy and enjoy every minute of my day. I'm not letting anything stress me out and take it all as it comes.Today we'll have our first pediatrics appt. with Henry... let's see how healthy he is :)...

Outlet Shopping Mall

Today we went to my most favorite shopping mall in Auburn Hills which is about an hour away from us. Unfortunately the play area for the kids got remodeled so it wasn't open :(... but Zoe had fun even without the play area. Little Henry just slept the whole shopping trip besides one feedingand Zoe enjoyed herself:
I figured that Zoe probably needs to go and get her first hair cut :(... I don't want to!!! But her mullets are kind of looking weird now so I guess it's about time... that's heartbreaking!

She loved the ice cream truck, we had problems convincing her to continue shopping... but we made it...
then she discovered these 'race cars' and grandma spoiled her to a ride. Zoe knew exactly that I wasn't at all for it...

Henry - One Week old!

:(... our little peanut is already one week old *sobb*... we had a great day yesterday. Zoe and Grandma had a fun time at My Urban Toddler while I fed Henry before class started and then we all had a great and fun class while Henry slept through it (perfect one on one with Zoe) even though she always wanted to unbuckle Henry from his car seat so he can come play and sing with us too! Too cute... since she's back healthy (semi-healthy) again her jealousy dropped to almost none... awesome :). I knew it was her sickness :(...

Zoe is getting better

Hey Hey, of course, we went out already with the new stroller on THU or FR (can't remember) when it was raining *lol*... but today it was so wonderful and sunny, a little windy but who cares? The kids enjoyed the stroll and so did Norma and I:Mr. Henry is doing great! No complains at all and Zoe is doing so much better now that her cold is healing off. She even makes sure Henry also has a bibb (Spucktuch, welches Zoe als Kuscheltuch nutzt) when she sees him without one and when I went and changed Henry she followed me with her new baby doll and undressed that one on the floor. I try to give her as much attention as possible and so far I think we're managing it very well.

Today something very funny and uncool happened. Since I always set my alarm in the morning so I can get up earlier than the kids so I get my nice shower in and can get ready in peace before I start my crazy days... now with Henry I also additional set my alarm in case he won't let me know that he has to be fed during the night (I only do that for the first two weeks since I'm gonna get in trouble with the pediatrician if I would let him sleep through the night). Well anyhow... so far I didn't really need the 'feeding' alarm since he lets me know when he's ready during the night. Yesterday I turned off the alarm and everything went well... this night I probably was sooo tired... I heard the alarm and thought... oh :(... already 7AM, time to get up... sleepy as I was, I went into the bathroom, got ready, took a long hot shower (my 'need to have' to start my day) came downstairs and had to look at the clock 10 times!!! 536AM!!! I thought the clock was wrong but apparently all of them showed the same and stupid enough I forgot to turn off the 5AM alarm when I fed Henry at 4 and stupid me got up at 5AM!!!

Well, at least I know I can still get my 2 hrs work in before the kids get up if I get up at 5 *lol*... but I bit myself in the behind this morning because I really wanted to get more sleep in :(. Tomorrow this won't happen again ;).

Tomorrow we'll have music class and Henry is going to be already one week old :(... I really try to enjoy every single day to the fullest because kids grow so fast. We're so lucky to have these two cute kids and them being so easy going! Many people were telling me if the first kid was so easy the second one will be a little devil or not as easy... well, you know what I mean... instead Henry is even more calmer and easy going than Zoe!!! Who would've thought!

Jealous big sister

Today we went to Buy Buy Baby, buying some things :). The kids did great:Since Zoe was a stinker and didn't sleep during her nap time... I guess she needed to catch up on it in the car!

Now Zoe is not only sick... she has serious jealousy problems as well! I manage the two pretty good so far but I feel like being on the fast lane all day. I'm glad I don't work right now because I would have no freaking clue where to add that!!! Time to go to bed, both kids are asleep...

Henry 5 days old and his big sister

This morning Zoe woke up with a coughing as well... it's better now and she seems to be feeling a little better though today. Let's hope for a less whiny Zoe today :). We'll stop by at buy buy baby today to get out of the house for a little bit at least and get a few things we could use. Yesterday we stopped in the office and showed off our little addition and also did some grocery shopping... (if I repeat myself over and over... have patience with me... i'm having my 'breastfeeding brain' on right now)... milk is coming in and it HURTS! I hope it doesn't take long until everything adjusts because it's pretty painful right now.
