Friday - last day in the Yellowstone Park I

Friday Frank and I drove into the Yellowstone Park for a last time for our vacation. It was a wonderful day... here a sitting cloud in the sky:The fishing bridge where years ago fisher were fishing elbow next to elbow. But they overdid it of course that they needed to put up a sign: 'no fishing' because the fishes weren't fast enough with making more fishes and it almost became a fishing bridge without fishes to fish for! But now they're back... still no fishing allowed.
Man, da faellt mir doch glatt ein: Fischer's Fritze fischte frische Fische... frische Fische fischte Fischer's Fritze *lol*... who can say that fast? In German please? ;)

Livingston Parade

On Thursday we met with Doug and Dana in Livingston DownTown for the parade. Here some shots of some Clowns and 'Oldies':Livingston's first automobile:

We had a great time and went with Dana and Sophia after the parade to a typical american diner. Doug couldn't join us because he had to work :(...

Geyser after Geyser

On Tuesday we took a day off and relaxed... Wednesday Frank and I drove into the park ourselves to see some more of the south of the park and more Geysers:This bold eagle was able to cause a traffic jam for about 30-60 minutes. We thought a major accident happened and when we past... we couldn't believe it... everybody stopped and took a picture... yeah right... ok we did too... but we didn't stop! But we learned, we didn't take that route again ;)

The colors were so beautiful... and the water is hot... we could see the bubbles deep down

This is the famous 'Old Faithful'. We went there after having a great lunch in the 'Old Faithful Inn' and waited for about 1.5 hrs until it finally broke out:
Old Faithful In from inside... all made out of wood...
what a great view:

Wild animals and good baby

Next we drove east and increased our altitute a lot...
on the way some wild animals we saw:
Sophia was so good the whole day even though we were in the car almost all day!
A baby black bear:
The 'Fejes' at the top of the world:
what a great view... but it was cold *bbbrrrr*

Oh, another picture of us :)

Mammoth Hot Springs

On Monday morning we met again at Doug and Dana's place and started the day with another delicous breakfast done by Doug and Dana this time ;)... and then we loaded up the car and made our way to the Yellowstone Park.
The first stop was the Mammoth Hot Springs with a little walk up the hill... Sophia did it right, she looked totally cool and didn't had to walk at all *lol*... she enjoyed being carried by her daddy:
Enjoy the pics... there is not much to say but see:

Vacation time with family

We're back... yes, we were gone. Maybe you noticed ;). Long time no posting but now I have soooo many pictures... I really have to be picky which ones I should post or it'll turn out to be a few pages long of pictures from our vacation... as you can tell already by those pics, we were in Montana spending some time with Doug, Dana and Sophia:We flew in on FR and settled down in a hotel in Bozeman for the first night. On Saturday after a very delicious breakfast (again... we ate way too much) we drove over to Livingston and spent the rest of the day with Doug and Dana.
Since we stayed in Livingston for the next night we started the Sunday very easy arranging for another hotel since the one we had chosen for most of the week wasn't such a burner! Luckily Frank did all the research and arranging of another hotel and I was lazy turning around another time in bed :). What a great life :)...
After everything was arranged we checked out and had a very delicious breakfast done by Doug. Chatted a little bit with family and took it easy for the rest of the day.
At night we had a very nice dinner in a mexican restaurant and afterwards Dana and Sophia went swimming in the hotel pool... Sophia had a blast:
