Games, Fun and Dustin

It's been a wonderful first week of Summer here. We've enjoyed a lot of quality time. Baking cookies with my munchkins:

And the really cool event... picking up Dustin from the Airport for a two week visit. The kids were beyond excited as you can see :)

We had to wait a very long time until he finally came but the waiting game was finally over...

... and he emerged

SAT we tried a garage sale but we made more money with the cookies and lemonade than with our 'stuff' *lol*... next time we should only promote home made cookies :)

With the 4H club the kids had to paint the goat cage for the fair... I love that color :)

Henry did a great job and so did Zoe.

They also had to color their T-Shirts... beautiful outcome

Next was a birthday party in the park... baseball with water balloons ;)

A chill day at the mall so Dustin could get a head start on his shopping :)

Another day of shopping without the kids this time... they spent the day at the farm and Dustin and I got to go shopping all by ourselves... It was so relaxing to just stroll through the mall and take our sweet time... we finished it off with a visit at the Cheesecake Factory :)... it was super yummy

End of School!!!

Summer is here... on FR Zoe had her last day of school and we're done until Sept 5th when they're both starting school incl. Inga our new exchange student. For now we're just enjoying our days to the fullest :).

Taking the shuttle back to the car... we came a bit later than usual on a very busy day so the kids really enjoyed not having to walk back to the car after all the walking in the Village in the heat

Date Night with my hubby... it was really good. We went to Bahama Breeze and their food is just sooo delicious... YUM

Game Time... Sunday Funday... oh it was Fathersday too :)...

Starting our first day of Summer - no early getting out of bed and just relaxing... after my workout we played Mini-Golf. Zoe scored big times...

Today Henry wanted pancakes for breakfast so he started putting the ingredients together... :)

Then we drove to Frankenmuth and enjoyed some really fun times together

Since I'm hunting down Willow Angels for Sita and I saw this 'Quietly' Angel for the first time it literally got hold of me!!! Today after another search for another angel I saw it again and I had to buy it for myself... TOTALLY me I would say ;)... a reminder of the days when the kids were little...
