Cheese... TUE morning 8am in Zoe's school for Assembly:
Her whole school meets every morning at 815am in their gym for 15 min to say the pledge (an american thing) and then they sing the american national anthem (every single morning) now she sings it at home all evening. I should learn the german national anthem so I can sing that with her... I never really learned it. I know one sentence of it! It's really hard for me to see that school is so different here than it was for me in Germany. We NEVER sang our anthem in school (at least I cannot remember it at all)... the celebration of their country and the pride of their country here is so big and ours was so little... it's so sad to see that there is a huge different and I'm having a hard time going with the crowd here since I didn't grow up that way. I guess I have to get over it... if I want to become an US citizen I have to be willing to do all this too... but I'm not ready for it yet!

My little man. I really enjoy our time together... I think it's actually cooler to be the second child. When Zoe had her one on one time with me for almost 2 yrs she was still so little and probably cannot remember a thing but Henry now does all these fun things with me and tells me what he wants to do etc. that must be so much cooler, don't you think?
We baked cookies for Henry's Birthday Party. This time we're making home made cookies in shape of a locomotive for giveaways. I was trying to find some inexpensive stuff that is not stuff you just throw away after a minute.... but it all adds up and homemade is always best and budget wise anyway ;)... and Henry enjoys it a ton so we found our perfect fit :). Henry was eating more dough than he should've but can't blame him... it was yummy and I did the same when I was baking with my grandma back in the days :)
I was watching my friends son while she's still recovering from her surgery so even picking up Zoe with an additional child work out very well...
When we got home and Zoe and Dustin were around as well, Luke surely enjoyed all the life in the house :)... it is a lot of fun with so many kids :). I totally love it. Glad I have a minivan... always enough space for everybody who wants to join our fun filled family :).
