Gavin's 2nd Birthday Party and Zoe's 2nd Baseball Game
Yesterday we had a very busy fun filled day. First we started of course with our walk :) a little relaxing and then after lunch we headed out to a park up north where Gavin celebrated his 2nd Birthday Party with a Dog Show. It was a great place and the weather was just AWESOME!!! Lots of people and of course I had to walk to the restrooms twice while being there :(... but, my super duper stroller goes through grass and park roads amazinlgy good so I had no problems at all and got in another few miles of walking.
They put up this whole training course and let the dogs do their tricks. Zoe enjoyed it and was a great kid again :)
Then we got home, I tried for her to nap a little before we'd go off to our next adventure the ball park!!! Yes, it was time again for the company outing to the ballpark. The Detroit tigers played against the Arizona Diamonds and totally won. Zoe did sooooo great!!! Oh man... we have the best daughter ever. She was so busy opening and closing this empty bottle and pretending to drink out of it (like we always do) that kept her busy for quite some time. Then she took a nap in between and watched the rest of the game chillin' and enjoyed the fireworks as well. The bus ride was great too, as soon as the bus started moving she knew right away it's time to sit and be careful. It's pretty amazing. She loved being around so many people all day and showed off being a great kid :) *proud mommy*

Since we got home at midnight last night Zoe slept in quite a bit and unfortunately she was running a little temperature when she got up. We took it easy all day today, cuddled together on the couch, took a nice long nap after lunch and she went to bed a tiny bit earlier today hoping that she fever will be gone tomorrow when she wakes up.

It's so funny... I was just telling Frank: when adults get sick, they just want their peace and quiet... not being bothered... when kids get sick, they wanna be with you all day cuddling the sickness away. Isn't that interesting?

Strawberry Picking
As you can see it wasn't as successful as you think ;). The other people around were way more interesting and one strawberry out of 'my picked basket' was enough for her *lol*. But we had fun and did something different.

Strawberry Picking
Today after taking my walk we went to a field nearby to pick some strawberries... first Zoe wasn't so sure what to do but she enjoyed herself and threw a fit when I wanted to leave. I only picked a few since we don't need THAT much, but enough that lasts us for a couple of days and so cheap and easy to access that I think I'll do this more often with her since I can only do little nearby things in the AM in order to not mess up our great schedule we have right now.
I'm soooo proud of myself getting so much done during the day with work and everything etc.! I tell you, if you're looking for a great organizer, hire a mom *lol*.
Plus I seemed to be in really good shape *lol*... the other girls we went with were 'wow-ed' by me showing up being pregnant! They said when they were pregnant they didn't wanna do ANYTHING.

Well, all I can think of is this one commercial I think is totally true: 'A body at rest, stays in rest... a body in motion, stays in motion' :)
