Our first family trip - Frankenmuth

Today we went on our first family trip here in the area. That was fun... we left after at a relaxed time and arrived at Frankenmuth, MI around lunch time. Frankenmuth is a bavarian style city. It was founded in 1845 by a German guy ;). I don't know why it always have to be the 'bavarian style' these German towns!!!
We had a great time, the weather was hot with a nice breeze and here now some nice pics. Unfortunately I forgot the camera, luckily my IPhone takes pics :)...
My hot hubby strolling our daughter around. Even though I totally love our stroller it was very nice to walk around handsfree :).
You can't tell the temperature on the picture, but the clock looking thing there shows the temperature and it showed 90 F (32 Grad C) in the shade!!!
uh... this ride I had to take a picture of:
A covered wooden bridge:
What a great view from the bridge... oh... I could've just taken out a relaxing chair and sit there for a while:
The Cheese Mouse and me :)
Their brewery:
We also visited the museum and stopped at the year around christmas shop. It was huge and I bought a few ornaments :)... Zoe's first ornament for this years' x-mas. I look forward to our christmas already :). When I asked Frank today if we're going to have a tree he said: Yes, we have two x-mas trees for the next two x-mas. He wants to kill our trees in the garden to make some room for a swing set and a sand box for Zoe, isn't that nice? :) I had to laugh about it... well... it's ok with me. These trees are very, very nice looking so we'll have great x-mas trees I can tell you that :)
Here our little (already so much grown) Cutie. She did great and enjoyed our family day a lot:
and some pics from the x-mas store:

You've got mail

uuhh, i love getting mail :). Today a package for Zoe arrived from Jennifer. And since Zoe is too small I'm allowed to open it up :)... cool :). First Schoko Bons fell out of the package (of course they're for me I assume) but they were all melted, so I grabbed them all (kind of like hot potatoes in hand style) and quickly put them into the fridge (emergency action) to save them ;)... hopefully they'll survive. The poor bons were sitting outside in the hot sun for 4 hrs!!!
And then I unwrapped this cute little animal that plays music and it had this sign. I wish I would've had some female friends with me so we can giggle all about it ;)... so now I have to giggle about it myself! Such a shame!!! I took a photo of it... if you get it and you have a moment like I did... then LAUGH OUT LOUD *lol*... I still can't read it or I'm cracking up!!! *lol* I guess it's a foolish girl thing... but I loved laughing about it... it was fun. THANK YOU Jennifer for all the fun you gave me today :)
Zoe likes it too... She was very interested that it plays music too :)
Guck Guck :)
And we also got a nice CD with so many german children songs... I'm still very limited in my repertoire. We learn new songs in the Mom's group... but well... at home I can never remember!!! So great...

Some news ;)... I'll finally go to CHICAGO :)... *YEAH*... one day I'll go for business and my hubby will stay at home and will enjoy a father/ daughter day while I will enjoy myself in Chicago (trip still have to be approved by management but I don't see why it wouldn't be approved). I'm so excited to see all my coworkers again... uhhhh... can't wait. And then I'll head out to Chicago (by car) another time with Zoe, while Frank is leaving for Vancouver to conduct a training. And then I'll spend some more time with my friends :)... so SEE YOU SOON :). I miss hanging out with them, having a BBQ's, hanging out at the pool etc. That'll be sooo much fun :)

Breakfast outside

Hhhmm, we had breakfast outside today enjoying the hot sun, I already have a taint! ;) Zoe didn't wanna stay inside with Max, they both wanted to come out with us and hang out with all the kids and moms!
Who... me?
Hihi, yeah... look at me in my cute dress my cousin chose for me :)
I have to share my place with Zoe again? Crazy girl, always wants to hold my hand!!!
Home alone again... how boring!
She's getting very, very active. She's always working with her legs and feet... I can only imagine how it's gonna look once she's up and walking... oh oh oh!!! I'll get lots of workout I bet *lol*

Neighborhood picnic

Today our 'neighborhood board' organized a picnic. It was very nice, meeting our neighbors, chatting here and there and eat some hot dogs and ice cream. Man I haven't had hot dogs in a while and was craving them already for a while!
The kids grabbing the candies that fell out of the 'pinyada':
Ms. Zoe taking a nap... they have sunscreen protection 100 now!!! Can you believe that. Of course I bought that ;)... when I was a child the max they had was 30 or so!!!
A fire truck came and let the kids experience all the cool things a fire truck can do!
On the way back home we ran into our neighbor and she told us that their outside lighting got stolen :(... also from another neighbor. Unbelievable. So now the board is trying to get a security gate for our main entrance and will block off the side entrance our neighborhood has. How exciting... if we'll get that I'll totally feel like a celebrity and more safe of course :)... hihi... how fancy! Lately I have all these weird dreams :(... I think we'll be the first neighborhood around here that will have a security gate! We'll keep you posted about it. Our neighborhood is really the best there is around here... very very nice. We really have a great life :)

So much energy

We can see it now already, she'll speed through the house once she starts moving around. She already rolls half over... won't be long anymore!
Talking and complaining and smiling and laughing... always something ;)
and again finger in the mouth!!!
see how big I am already!!!
well... i have to tell you another story...
Today our neighborhood organized a picnic in our little park. We're excited and look forward to finally meet our neighbors officially. I found out the other day that a football player of the Greenbay packers lives in our neighborhood... that explains the Wisconsin license plates!!! Exciting!!! :) Our neighborhood is really nice... I really love it here. Now more and more people are outside, kids playing around, young and older... so cool...
