Today when I came home it totally hit me!!!

Man!!! Is there a party going on without me??? That was my thinking when I was about to enter my apartment and wanted to take off my shoes! Normally my shoes are lined up if they're out in the open. But this week I guess I wasn't doing it *lol*... that was funny!!! Needed to take a picture and post the story.

July, 4th - Rodeo and Fireworks

Yeah, after a relaxing day we met in Livingston at the 'art show'. Many little stands where people tried to sell their VERY nice art.
Then we walked to the 'Pickle Barrel' (not the 'Purple Onion' *lol*) and had some sandwiches and walked to the Rodeo. It was a great time and a perfect day to unfortunately end our vacation :(

Some Fireworks at night of course because of July, 4th.

Our vacation was soooo good, we didn't want to leave :(. We had a great time, big thank you to Doug, Dana and Sophia for the great time we spent together. Hope we'll see each other soon ;). On Sunday Frank and I flew out back to our 'work places' again. Unfortunately Frank needed to catch a shuttle to the airport at 6AM in the morning :(... Doug, Dana and Sophia picked me up at around 1030 for a last breakfast together and my flight took off at 133PM. I had a direct flight to Chicago, how convenient :).
Ok, it's time for some fitness... need to get my condition back.
This weekend will be a Chicago weekend. On Saturday the German Club comes over ;)... plus some more Germans. That'll be fun!

July, 3rd

Since we wanted to all have dinner together at night we visited Doug at work and had some delicous pizza. Sophia was very busy sucking the hell out of her food. The four tiny teeth that she has already helped her a little:

Friday - last day in the Yellowstone Park I

Friday Frank and I drove into the Yellowstone Park for a last time for our vacation. It was a wonderful day... here a sitting cloud in the sky:The fishing bridge where years ago fisher were fishing elbow next to elbow. But they overdid it of course that they needed to put up a sign: 'no fishing' because the fishes weren't fast enough with making more fishes and it almost became a fishing bridge without fishes to fish for! But now they're back... still no fishing allowed.
Man, da faellt mir doch glatt ein: Fischer's Fritze fischte frische Fische... frische Fische fischte Fischer's Fritze *lol*... who can say that fast? In German please? ;)

Livingston Parade

On Thursday we met with Doug and Dana in Livingston DownTown for the parade. Here some shots of some Clowns and 'Oldies':Livingston's first automobile:

We had a great time and went with Dana and Sophia after the parade to a typical american diner. Doug couldn't join us because he had to work :(...

Geyser after Geyser

On Tuesday we took a day off and relaxed... Wednesday Frank and I drove into the park ourselves to see some more of the south of the park and more Geysers:This bold eagle was able to cause a traffic jam for about 30-60 minutes. We thought a major accident happened and when we past... we couldn't believe it... everybody stopped and took a picture... yeah right... ok we did too... but we didn't stop! But we learned, we didn't take that route again ;)

The colors were so beautiful... and the water is hot... we could see the bubbles deep down

This is the famous 'Old Faithful'. We went there after having a great lunch in the 'Old Faithful Inn' and waited for about 1.5 hrs until it finally broke out:
Old Faithful In from inside... all made out of wood...
what a great view:
