what can I say? This is how our parking lot at work looks like: The snow is building up at the side of the 'road'
tonight we're supposed to get new snow and also on saturday. The people here are curious about it... where should we put the new snow??? The snowplougher are doing a great job here in Chicago... awesome!!!
John asked me already if I'll also take so many pics of the snow next winter??? Hihi... it's kind of new for me... except for my winter in Utah... I love the snow...
But honestly... I'm looking forward to the spring/summer too :)...

SNOW

Today we closed our office at 3PM because of the bad weather... this was our parking lot, everybody needed to wipe snow off the carand the roads were pretty clear with a few icy spots specially at the lights.

Oh, this title I've had already *lol*... but it's true... while we were watching the 'Superbowl' yesterday night... more snow came down.This is how our car looks almost every morning:... and our morning 'activity' or better, John's :)... he's always wiping the snow off while I would do the ice scraping... luckily there wasn't any ice today... during the 'activity' I helped John by removing some snow from the car in 'ball shape' form *lol*... and on the arrival home the snowball fight continued *lol*...

Schnee, Schnee, Schnee

Yesterday it started snowing... our way home takes normally only half an hour... guess what?! We were on our way home and took 2,5 hours. Luckily I talked to Dana all the time so I didn't get aggresive or so. John took a nap while standing through the way home.
Because of the snow (we have even more today) I was planning on leaving home VERY early (not very early for me though) and hopefully we won't take 2,5 hrs to work... Otherwise I'll just work from home I think.
Let's see... I'll take some pics today and post them later :)... it's fun here :)...

Sales Meeting in Chicago

On Tuesday and Wednesday we had our yearly Midwest Sales Meeting. We were all together 40-50 people during those 2 days and it was held in downtown Chicago.
Man,... :).... again I had a room with a great view of 'Lake Michigan'.
On Monday Steve, Lisa and I had dinner downtown. We went to a famous steak house and who sat down next to us??? Peter Gallagher with his son. That was awesome. We couldn't remember his name so we waited until Peter had to use the restroom and Steve asked his son about the name!!! Man, that was embarressing!!! Lisa wanted to take a picture with her cellphone but I held her back :)... he's a total normal person and how annoying is that if we act like every other 'paparazi'!!!
On the way out we saw a local News anchor who was planning on having dinner in this restaurant after we left. And we were wondering about the tall black guys that were coming in when we left... they were probably some football/basketball players... :)
This was a great Meeting... many new company 'VIP' people... meet and greet... presentations... PERFECT.

Company Holiday Party

Hello again :), yesterday we've had our Holiday Party outside the city. First we made a quick stop at Steph's house. She had her Birthday Party going on and we wanted to be at least there for a little bit :). Afterwards we've made our way to the 'Barn' where the Holiday Party was. We had a lot of fun :)...

Kaum haben wir das Jahr gestartet, geht es mit den Geburtstagen weiter :). Sandra hatte gestern am 4.1. Geburtstag, Steph folgt am 8.1., Jared wird am 14.01. ein Jahr aelter und Sandra dann am 4.2.!
